Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement. The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract. After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Please, do not use this company. Your money and time will be better served with a different warranty company or none at all. This company is by and far the worst warranty company that we have ever dealt with. We have been unfortunate and have tried to utilize their services on a few occasions and in the end we end up paying for the repairs out of pocket and they will not provide a refund for the purchased warranty contract. They recently left us without heat for days despite subfreezing temperatures outside. In the end, we paid for the repairs on our own.

I switched home warranty companies because of unreliable contractors the last company sent for repairs. They weren’t qualified to do the job, poor workmanship, and sometimes they would leave for parts and never return. Recently Select Home Warranty sent me a very qualified contractor to repair my home heater system. They contacted me within minutes of Home Warranty notifying me of a contact. The Technician that came out is also the owner of Texas Trophy A/C & Heating. Very friendly and professional. It was like having my best friend do the job in a very timely manner. It was 32 F here in Houston the night the heater went out. I’m now warm and very grateful.

The sales rep was incredibly helpful. I was switching from another warranty service and thought I knew what I wanted. He was extremely professional and walked me through all the options available. I realized this service was head and shoulders above others as far as offerings, and that they were rated extremely high annually for service. I saved money and feel better protected long term. Highly recommend
