Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

This was my first service call with Select. They were courteous and able to help right away. I thought it was going to be a minute but whom they sent came right out. That was a definite plus in my book.

I just bought my first contract and customer service was very courteous and helpful. Hopefully everything goes well with repairs when required. When going through their contract I was a little concerned with their limits but customer service assured me I was in good hands. We sill see.

This evil company is Not helpful when a emergency comes up. After they send a technician out to inspect your issues at your home. The technician will send a report back to SHW. Then SHW get the report that’s when they’ll quickly back away from you, and tell you that they will contact you later in 2-3 business days. It’s a huge scam. After getting fed up with them I told the customer service lady that I will report them to BBB, and a female with an thick non- American accent told me that if I report them to the Better Business Bureau it will prolong my claim. Meaning that I won’t get anything fix because I’m warning others about their scam. Unfortunately, I paid them for 3 years up front... Read More

Please do NOT spend your money with this "Home Warranty" company. As a new customer to Select Home Warranty I am very disappointed and upset that I spent my money purchasing a policy with this company. This company has reimbursement issues, "hidden" probation periods of service, unexpected costs issues, misleading and lack of information when speaking with personnel, as well as poor communication when being transferred to different departments. In any "emergency" repair situation Select Home Warranty is NOT the company to call. Heaven forbid if there is a leak or plumbing issue in your home, you would have an entire swimming pool in your home before Select Home Warranty would send someone... Read More

This company is the worst home warranty company I ever used. If you are a new homeowner they will not support your claims because you don't have the previous owner's records. They are swindlers and I would never recommend them. I will be sharing this experience with the BBB as well.
