For the sake of education and peace-of-mind, this company provides a sample contract and quote calculator on their website. In exchange for a $75 administration fee, they also offer a pro-rated refund if the initial 30 days have expired.

Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement. The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract. After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I have just recently started with Select Home Warranty. Ryan was good at explaining everything and gave me a better deal. He even gave me 2 month of free warranty. I will have to spend a year or two with them to actually know how good they are. But at the moment, I am happy with them.

This company is a scam. It is very good at selling and marketing, they'll give you all sorts of incentives and are very nice on the phone. When it time to get items fixed, they do not respond and will have you waiting for days and weeks for until they can find the cheapest parts or don't have a contractor in your area because they are cheap and then you will get fed up and find your own contractor whom they will not pay for. I signed up six properties and they gave me various discounts, far better that other companies I have used in the past and i have been doing this for over thirty years. Customer service rep is very patient to answer my questions and provides the promotion offer for me, which allows me to make decision and buy this home warranty plan immediately. With that said, I believe I will get a good treat for new customer if anything wrong happens for my house, and I will get covered for sure with on pain to deal with the company. Great service quality with great rate.
