In exchange for a $75 administration fee, they also offer a pro-rated refund if the initial 30 days have expired.

Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement. The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract. After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I'm glad the customers below had such a great experience. I have to say that, at the time of purchasing the warranty, they were fantastic sellers, courteous, and great bedside manners...they even ask me to rate them for an extra month...boy howdy, I did and it was a great one. Receiving service to the house was never an issue either, quite prompt ( a day or so). Here is the problem: FIXING the ISSUE at hand. After a diagnosis was provided three times (from three different issues), to this day, I ended up paying for the repairs out of pocket. Why?, they kept claiming they never received the paperwork ...even when I was directly sending it to them while on the phone !!!!!!!!! (the photos... Read More

They are great and super nice when discussing plans and upselling you to spend more with them. However, when you need actual work done they don’t cover major parts. I was just told they won’t cover the heat exchanger in my HVAC system. That is a major part and Is going to cost me around $3k to get a new unit. I’m sure all the warranty companies are like this, but do your due diligence before picking one and make sure they cover all parts.
