Choice Home Warranty is a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008 which offers services contracts. Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Each plan also offers optional coverage for septic systems, pools /spas, well pumps, sump pumps, central vacuuming systems, limited roof leaks, second refrigerators, and standalone freezers.

The contracted service technicians are always professional. The program needs improvement in ensuring their customers are knowledge on their policies to minimize disappointed if expectations are set early and clearly
Dishwasher was fixed and works great. However, the next day we noticed that the dishwasher was not level. It runs fine, but we are concerned that not being level might have a negative effect on the motor. The tilt is easily noticeable.
He was quick, immediate response, and professional. He called when he was on his way. Asked relevant questions.
The technician was very thorough and explained to problem clearly. I would use this company again. They were punctual and respected the covid ritual by wearing a mask and keeping a distance while explaining the problem.
Choice home warranty has been nothing but a huge headache dealing with incompetent people having to make phone call after phone call to get a technician out to my house and after the technician has been there they'll send you an email and most likely deny your claim!! I would not recommend choice home warranty to anyone I feel that' choice home warranty rips people off every time!! and when it comes down to performing the work they just say denied!! Every claim that I've had so far I've had nothing but problems with choice home warranty!!! I've been lied to by choice home warranty!! WOW!! and been so mad that I've treated my family wrong after arguing with a member of choice home... Read More

Ness Appliance Repair from College Station, TX was awesome. Came the same day I sub my claim. Diagnosed the problem within minutes and proceeded to order the new part.
My heater stop working. I called and you immediately had someone to contact me to make an appointment. The came out the next day, early. I love it. My problem was fixed.
The technician was great and very knowledgable and gets a "10" but Choice Home Warranty gets a "0". I submitted a claim for my dishwasher and my stove and oven on the same claim. When I relized that the stove and oven were not on the first work order, I submitted a second claim and asked to have both done on the same service call. The technician showed up for the dishwasher and even though I showed him that the claim clearly showed the dishwasher, stove and oven, he said it was not on his work order so the only thing he could do was the dishwasher. I have had an issue with a dishwasher that has not worked since August. I've waiting for a repairman (weeks to over a month several times), then parts that could not be found, then parts that were missordered. I live in a metro area and have a hard time believing that appliance repair services take so long to secure! I have had a repairman 5 times in the last 5 months, with the dishwasher never working. Currently waiting for more parts, ridiculous!
