Choice Home Warranty is a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008 which offers services contracts. Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Each plan also offers optional coverage for septic systems, pools /spas, well pumps, sump pumps, central vacuuming systems, limited roof leaks, second refrigerators, and standalone freezers.

My garage door wouldn't open all the way or close all the way. It was the springs that were broken. When I called, they said it had to be a mechanical issue that will be covered. Well, it can't get any more mechanical than that I thought, and I did ask for more clarification. I only waited one day for them to come out which was great! The tech told me that there may be a possibility that my issue may not be covered, and he would have to call it in. Fortunately, it was covered! The last time I placed a claim, you could not find a person to take the call and I had to fix the problem myself. I have just placed a claim and am waiting to see if you can do better.
I was pleased with an earlier claim (last year) and had I filled this out at that time you would have gotten a higher rating.
If you fail this time, I will be giving you a much lower rating and probably cancelling my account
I called to get info on Choice Home Warranty. I spoke with Greg Harkin. Greg was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He was incredibly helpful with suggestions. I have elected to purchase this Home Warranty today thanks to Gregâs expertise and awesome personality.

My handle on my microwave broke from general use. You denied my claim for abuse. I assure you that is not the case. I am gentle with my appliances. To me this is just another of Choices excuses to get out of paying a claim.

I highly recommend OPS Plumbing, they are very caring and courteous especially Melissa. Great customer service. The Tech they sent to my home Jason Boyd is very experienced, knows his job and gets the job done as fast as possible. He is also very friendly and courteous.

Very quick response for service and resolution. But we did not know the cost for replacement would be based on when it was manufactured and not when purchased.
Choice is awful. They will always find a way to deny the claim. Worst warranty company Iâve encountered.
