Choice Home Warranty is a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008 which offers services contracts. Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Each plan also offers optional coverage for septic systems, pools /spas, well pumps, sump pumps, central vacuuming systems, limited roof leaks, second refrigerators, and standalone freezers.

Rating: minus 5 stars. I put the claim in on 9-9-22 for a leaking faucet and got a call from the plumbing company for an appointment. But because they got the wrong address they could not come until the Choice warranty company issued a new ticket. A plumber came on 9-14-22, found the faucet leaking, and said that he will order a new one and let me know when. I got an email with a date of 9-28-22. Nobody came that date and the next day, 9-29-22 I got an email, that the plumber marked the work unnecessary and nobody will come on 9-28-22. He saw the leakage and I have it documented on a video. Service provider was in touch with me within the allotted time. Communication between the technician (Mike) was very good. and his technical knowledge was excellent. Mike did a thorough job communicating the process. I rate Mike 10 stars on a scale of 1 to 5 stars. Very happy
Anthony and Tony were prompt, extremely helpful, willing to answer questions and friendly. Most of all they knew what they were doing and resolved my issue quickly and efficiently. A perfect combination for a hard of hearing, mid-seventies man's first experience with your company.

I'm leaving a review that should both be informative, as well as constructive, because Choice Home Warranty took more than 7 days to resolve a water well pump issue. If it was just a microwave or even a dishwasher, by all means we could wait however long it takes to find a service provider in my area. But we could not wait for more than a week, because our house well pump malfunctioned which rendered the entire home without water. That said, selling a homeowner a Whole House Warranty and not having service providers at hand in the area in which they live in and making them wait 7+ days for service provider because you could not find one, is unacceptable. He arrived at the time he promised, looked over the situation, did some testing and found the issues I was having.
