It is not clear upon purchase of the CSA travel insurance that it will only cover expenses purchased through Justfly. Even though the coverage benefits indicate that 100% of travel expenses are covered, if these are not purchased through Justfly they will not be covered. Their sales pitch is very unclear and easily misunderstood, as you can tell from the negative comments below this company should be avoided, if only I had read them before purchasing the insurance.

Unethical cheats!!!! If you get a diagnosis of CANCER, they will claim its a Pre-existing condition. They will charge you 10% of your trip cost and then pay you NOTHING! Be Warned. They are cheats, particularly if you are diagnosed with a serious illness. They will claim that ANY doctor visit in the preceding 60 days proves it a pre-existing condition

I am a vacation rental owner, I filed a claim with pictures with CSA travel protection on a guest damaging a couch & loveseat. It took them over 2 weeks to respond, they requested quotes from furniture stores, requested quotes for upholstery cleaning. Being out all that time and frustration. Now there requesting upholstery repair and not wanting to replacement. This company give the runaround and refuses to pay the claim. Please notify this company to be false insurance! Do not expect this company to do whats right or treat you fair. Please direct me to where I can get more notice to file a compliant on this company.

CSA will take your money but just try to get them to reimburse you for anything. We paid them $2000 to insure our trip. When we had a trip interruption in Africa due to a flight cancellation, we tried to get reimbursed for the lost hotel expenses (we forfeited a pre-paid hotel). When we filed a claim they required the reason for the cancellation. All the airline (Air Kenya) could give us was "operational reasons". Still, CSA refused to pay. If there ever was a legitimate reason for a claim, this was one.

I purchased CSA travel insurance through the property rental website. I purchased the insurance because I have an elderly mother who we planned to give the family trip to as a gift for her 85th birthday. My mother's condition deteriorated, and when we called her physician to see if she was fit to travel, he specifically said she could not travel with her breathing issues, much less to a region with a high altitude. I called the property management company, and they told me it was a good thing I had purchased the insurance to cover my $800 down payment. I don't see how they have a 6.8 rating out of 10 when there are so many negative reviews. Like a previous reviewer, I took out CSA travel insurance on a NC beach house. We had a mandatory evacuation and they did not cover anything because I had trip cancellation insurance rather than trip interruption insurance. I was told if they issued an evacuation before I left, then I could have cancelled and been covered. This is a huge rip off. If you buy travel insurance you should be covered if you have a major hurricane forcing you to leave early. I will never waste my money with this worthless company again. Lesson learned.

I bought trip insurance through CSA and when I had to change my trip, for reasons which were apparently not covered they reimbursed nothing - I hadn't even left on my trip and they wouldn't budge to have the insurance change my new travel dates. What a load of crap, would never recommend this company.

I purchased travel insurance through the CSA web site in case we had to cancel our trip to the beach due to hurricane season. When it became apparent that we may have to cancel our trip due to hurricane Florence, I called CSA to see what our options were. I was told by a representative named Alexander that our insurance policy would not cover trip cancellation due to the hurricane. He said we did not purchase the insurance enough days in advance. I told him that there were no purchase restrictions or time constraints mentioned on the web site. I purchased travel insurance through CSA for an upcoming trip to Yosemite National Park, and unfortunately we had to cancel because of the wildfires. In my claim form, I noted that all major roads and entrances for our destination were closed due to the fires and there were mandatory evacuations issued for parts of the national park we were set to visit. Our trip was scheduled for Aug. 3-8, when major roads & park entrances were still closed due to wildfires, and I cancelled on July 31. To the owner DAMIEN who started your brilliant travel insurance. It was very disappointing to me that my God Daughter that I have been caring for and lived with me and has passed away was not considered family member to me and was denied my claim that I had to cancel for her memorial services. It was not like I cancelled at the last minute I did it 2 weeks prior to my trip. I was also told a family dog is considered a family member and my God daughter is not.
