Moving APT is a SCAM!!!! They are not a moving company even though they will sound like they are on the phone. They are just some broker! I was given a 5 day window for my move and NO ONE SHOWED UP!!!! No one called me to say no is coming to move me to ANOTHER STATE and they did not answer or return my calls. I had to dispose of ALL my things on my last day so I can move. These people caused me thousands of dollars in damage and some things I lost can not be replaced. People responsible for this are Peter and Ronald.
Please read the reviews online about these FRAUD people and hire a real moving company. I wish I had done that and did not fall for these scammers.
I've moved 4 major times in my life. This is by far the absolute worst experience of all of my moves. This company promises big, but because they are a broker, they have no idea what they are sending you. They are a sorry outfit. Absolutely terrible. Their prices in the beginning are a clear "bait and switch." Low cost bid....then take a huge down payment. As you get closer to the move, the price goes up and up and when the driver finally arrives....It goes up again. Oh....and you don't have insurance. No matter what you think. RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS FAST AS YOU CAN.

So when I did the final inventory in the QA call with Ronald, I listed a lot of extra items, and the final price was 3509.03 based on 864 cubic feet. After that, Ronald told me that when the movers were at my house, they were just loading the items that I listed and if they were fewer I would have paid only for the items that they were carrying on. Worse service and I have to agree with many of the comments that come before me. They are an absolutely scam. I recently moved from LA to NY, nearly a month has gone by and my stuff is still not here. I can't believe they are still with what trash service they provide.
This company is the worst they must have given the good reviews themselves.Lost so much of my nieces belongings from move to NYC and they have a small baby.Trouble is now they will not answer her calls or texts so she can see whats going on.Dont be deceived by their friendliness until they hook you
Worst moving experience of my life. My things are missing or broken and an antique bed was delivered with out a headboard. No one at the company can call you back or help with issues. The delivery people smell and are rude .

I don't usually review experiences but feel as though I need to warn others of our misfortunes with this company called Moving APT. Sales staff are sweet talkers as would be expected. This team promised us a maximum of 3 weeks not including weekends to do a cross country move...it is currently week 6 and I have little to no expectations that our belongings will ever be delivered to us. No one on the team is able to give any estimation of when the items will be delivered to us. We would honestly have been better off burning all of our things than giving this responsibility over to this company. Run away as fast as you can and stay clear of them.
You sent Utrust moving to pick up my boxes, and they stole jewelry, two pictures one painted by my deceased father, camping equipment, and gardening equipment including a weed wacker they can not use with out the batteries that go with it. They were rude, changed your so called fixed quote by 1000 dollars over, how you can send these thieves to anyone's home is beyond me. I hope they never move your relatives, or friends or any person. worst experience with moving ever and i have moved multiple times will never go through a broker again, good luck the bad guys always win so watch your backs you'll be next in their extortion. For starters movers were a day late. they broke so much stuff. photos attached are enough of an explanation. But really? How do you do that to a freezer? 90% of the stuff broke, we paid extra for them to pack. They also didnt deliver some items. But they offered us $200 for over $2000 worth of stuff. It was also delivered 3 days late. the claims process is a joke. We have been fighting for 2 months over this. It was denied because I did not scan back BLANK pages. Then they wanted me to resubmit everything that took 3 hours to begin with. MovingApt offered $100 reimbursement. The subcontractor (Pioneer Moving) APT hired to do my job was an absolute scam and APT knew that. When my things were finally delivered (much later than promised) they had lost my table ($550), one wardrobe box full of personal things, and 2 medium size boxes. $3000+ value and a lot of personal memorabilia. No one has reached out to me. Before they take your deposit, they are going to be extremely nice to you. After they take your NONREFUNDABLE deposit, you become less than human to them.
