Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Choice Home Warranty offers existing homeowners two plans, each of which cover a mix of systems and appliances. The primary difference between its Total plan and its Basic plan is that refrigerators, washers and dryers, and air conditioning systems are not included in the Basic Plan. Optional coverage for such items as pools and spas, well pumps, and septic systems is available for an additional fee. We requested a quote for a single family home of less than 5000 square feet in a small midwestern city. The premium for Choice Home Warranty's Basic was $47.85 per month and the premium for its Total pan was $54.95 per month. With the cost difference between the two plans being only about $7 per month, to our mind, the Total plan a better value overall because it includes coverage for three of the most common appliances: refrigerators, washers, and dryers. It also includes coverage for air conditioning systems.

The company's co-pay for a service call is $85, slightly less than most comparable companies. The co-pay may be reduced further with special discounts and promotions.

Cancellation Policy

The contract shall be non-cancelable by the company except for nonpayment of contract fees or service fees, fraud or misrepresentation of facts by the customer, or by agreement between client and company. Customers may cancel within the first 30 days of the order date for a full refund of the paid contract fees. If canceled after 30 days, the customer shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fee for the unexpired term, less a $50 administrative fee and any service costs incurred by the company.

0 stars False advertisement from sales representative when I purchased my plan. I was told if Choice decides to replace an appliance such as a dishwasher that full replacement value is covered. I can’t even buy the handle to the dishwasher with the amount of money that they gave me to replace it. I have paid over 3,000.00 into my plan!! Waste of money! I will be canceling my plan and going with an honest company. The manager that helped me was very dishonest and rude.

Absolutely horrible waste of money. Choice warranty is not able to get a plumber to come to my house to fix the problems. I have called a plumber out 3 times in hope of getting choice warranty to reimburse. Two times I paid $250 each time they came out only to unclog an outside drain. I was told that the setup will always backup to a old septic tank that is no longer in use. The plumbing company told me that the PCV has to be redirected to go to the city sewer pump. I started digging so that the plumbers would have access to the drain lines from the house. I placed another claim with Choice Warranty. They could not get a plumber to come out, therefore I called my own... Read More

Very positive experience on my first claim. I was not expecting to have to use the service so soon, but I’m thankful that I had this option. Vendor was quick and very kind. I hope my next issue is handled in the same manner.

Our toilet was leaking and we'd shut off the water. We were scheduled for repair after the weekend, 4 days later. Not looking forward to that, I called the technician, who came from far across town to fix the toilet. I could not be more pleased or satisfied with Terrell. Big thank you!

We called to have a leaking kitchen sink repaired on our condo in the Ozarks. The condo is on the third floor of four floors, so two below our unit and one above our unit. They wanted to come repair our sink in a week. We had to cancel the repair because we could not wait that long so we are not able to review this claim. We did not want to flood the units under our condo.

He came early which was Awesome He worked very quickly to get our air conditioning working again as we are a Handicapped cou pl e and need air conditioning. We thank Baker HVAC and they will be on our uick call list for future problems !

I have been without hot water for, this is the 7th day. I have called multiple times with no results. My family is also upset that I have been spending money all these months that I could be using to get at least one of my problems fixed. I'll call again today and hope to get a response.
