Choice Home Warranty is a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008 which offers services contracts. Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Each plan also offers optional coverage for septic systems, pools /spas, well pumps, sump pumps, central vacuuming systems, limited roof leaks, second refrigerators, and standalone freezers.

The call center says the same thing over and over about we are working the claim. Problem is, this goes on for days and days. ANYTHING not to pay a claim. EVERY single claim I have had (2) they say the exact same thing, that the vender has not given them all of the necessary information for Choice to make a decision. Really, you can't make a decision on a shower cartridge. STUPID if not so FUNNY. Sound familiar??
Very cordial and friendly agent who I spoke with. Advised me of my options for a warranty on my home. Very helpfuland appreciated.
Very friendly agent asked about our claim warranty claim. She was knowledgeable and friendly. She has arranged for someone to fix our washing machine problem.
plumber came within the time frame. They went right to work. They got the job done right away.
I was very happy with my two recent service calls. One, for toilet, was dealt with on the same day. The other, for sink, was denied b/c there was corrosion around stopper. I spoke to claims manager, Kenneth, and he approved $200 toward the $550 cost to replace sink, faucet, stopper and braided hoses despite not being covered. I was grateful for that. Choice did a great job.
I was told I would receive a Credit Cash Card for Lowes and have not received it!!!!!
Cedrick was great! He was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the air conditioning what was needed to fix the issue. He was very patient when having to wait for another person in the building to give him access to the roof. Cedrick was thorough and I appreciated him fixing the issue as soon as possible.

I have had Choice Home Warranty for at least 3 years and they are nothing but a RIP OFF. I paid over $1,000.00 for 3 years of coverage and they have refused more coverage than they have paid for. They advertise they cover a wide range of home issues, but when it comes to approving it, they suddenly say it isn't included in your plan. The icing on the cake was recently my water heater developed a leak, I paid for a technician to inspect, but CWH said "No, they only cover replacing the heating element and the water feed pipe, NOT THE TANK". They are worthless. Don't waste your money. Service companies in my area are refusing to work with them because of they won't even pay the going... Read More
The appointment with the technician was scheduled quickly and efficiently. The technician who showed up to complete the work was on-time, polite, professional, and very thorough. Parts were ordered quickly and the follow-up appointment was also scheduled very fast. We are extra happy with the service we received.
