Choice Home Warranty is a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008 which offers services contracts. Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Each plan also offers optional coverage for septic systems, pools /spas, well pumps, sump pumps, central vacuuming systems, limited roof leaks, second refrigerators, and standalone freezers.

call center great service sending some out to check out the problem on time
Bathroom faucet broke, spewing water everywhere! Ok, turned that water off and contacted Choice Home Warranty for a plumber. A nice young man came by (on time), and he verified the entire faucet had to be replaced; I gave him the required visit charge of $85 and he left with the promise to let me know when next appointment would be. Received email giving me date and time for replacement. Same young man returned on time with a new faucet and replaced it. When he was ready to leave, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that there were no more charges: the $85 service call covered the two visits, parts, and labor! When they are selling the warranty. They said everything is covered under your claims, but when you open a claim under their policy, the explanation is different. For example, corrosion is not covered. You didn't keep the unit clean. It's leaking, so that's why it's not covered. It really depends on the service company they send. If they are going to cover any appliances, then they will ask to pay the deductible plus half of the repair costs. Be ready to pitch in for repair or replacement cost. Otherwise, it's not bad to locate tech.
I just signed up for this service so I cannot comment on how good their service is. Maybe after a year of experience with them I can give you a better opinion.
