I'm reading bad reviews bad i had an pleased experience i was in an stop sign and a truck hit me and run and i took pictures l, videos and i got my check very fast with not problems.

I went through the otto website and they gave me a quote of $42.00 and I continued to finish my quote. They came up with three auto accidents that I was in and I had no idea what they were talking about. They immediately raised the quote by $27.00 and said I could talk to the comprehensive loss underwriters. Then gave there number which was a number for a medical device that I don't need. They asked me if I wanted to finish my quote and then hung up on me. If this was progressive it is not the level of quality that I expected of them. Be leery of anything that has Otto insurance

Progressive's business practices are a bit questionable. They give you a sign on discount that only good for 6 mos but dont really mention this in their website when signing up, unless you click on a 6 pt font that takes you to the TOS. So plan on your insurance rate increasing by $140 a half, which is basically $300 for the year. Totally ridiculous. Oh and there is no discount for paying your 6 month rate in full at all. Another totally ridiculous situation.

Progressive Insurance company is the best of the best. I was involved in a motor vehicle accident where I needed 7 months of 3 days a week physical therapy as well as various doctors and MRI. The bills started rolling in and I was deeply concerned that at $260 a session for physical therapy I would have to quit going because of financial reasons. The way they manage your personal injury protection is outstanding! They could have paid them as they were presented, but instead in the same way that health care insurance works they have negotiated pricing with various service providers. Not a company I would do business with again. I had progressive insurance, cancelled it because I sold the car. Got my refund check followed their instructions for returning their snapshot device. They stopped payment on the refund check after it was deposited and are issuing me two separate checks one for the "snapshot device" and the rest of the money they owe me. This cost me an overdraft fee and a returned check fee, which they refuse to cover. Not because they didn't owe me the money but because they refunded it in two checks. Never do business with these people.

I have been with Progressive for a few years now. My wife was recently involved in a traffic crash. The other driver was 100% at fault. My wife is not experienced in dealing with insurance claims and expected to have our insurance company, Progressive, take care of the matter with the other driver's insurance company. We hoped for good customer service. However, my wife was treated disrespectfully on the telephone during this period. Progressive was in the news recently concerning their reverse discrimination policy. This policy if reported correctly by the news (one white person was interviewed claiming denial of obtaining coverage with the special discount), allow only African/Americans to use this special benefit/discount for coverage. This is as bad as when blacks were discriminated against years ago and should not happen today. Shame on Progressive and I hope they change this policy.

i bought insurance online and my son has a backend acciden 1.5 at the house. i had specifically ask sales did he had to be on the policy no as long as he has premission. the hp said i wish i didnt have to write a ticket but rules in sc you have no choice. i was sent many letters asking me to call i called 4 times never got them nor a return call but i got more denials first i didnt have insuran. on july 27.. i sent a copy of ticket which was on the the 28th. next denial he was not listed on policy. 3rd was i didnt have the insurance long enough. one denial was my son wasnt at fault and i caled corporate offic. i drove 40 miles just to have the form for dmv filled out. the clerk was... I signed up 6 months ago Jan. 2024 because the customer service was excellent and the price was even better. I paid it in full. I am a retired teacher so no longer commute or drive much. I've had a spotless driving record for over 15 years. Now it's time to renew for another 6 months and the price / the premium went up $300! What a scam. What a disappointment. I only went with progressive because they claim to save you so much money. I will be changing to a new car insurance carrier today. Buyer beware.

Very pathetic insurance company. In Cut Off Louisiana in January 2023 my son got hit in the rear by a person who had Progressive Insurance. My son also had Progressive Insurance and had the uninsured motors coverage. He had to have the truck towed off due to all the damage. Progressive Insurance only rented a for one month. My son business depends on him have a truck to do his work. It is now June 2023, 6 months later and his truck is still not repaired and Progressive Insurance doesn't care.
