RoamRight markets a truly comprehensive range of coverages, from the more robust Elite plan to a stand-alone medical insurance policy.

They also provide several levels of protection in between, through plans like the Preferred, Essential, Pro, Pro Plus, and the Multi-trip Annual Coverage/Trip Cancellation. Their bestseller is the Elite plan, which is an all-inclusive coverage that offers the highest level of medical and dental protection, baggage protection, trip cancellation, and travel accident insurance. It comes with additional perks like a "cancel for work reasons" benefit, AD&D insurance, free coverage for children under 18, and a pre-existing conditions coverage for customers who purchase the plan within 21 days of the initial trip deposit.

All of RoamRight's policies can be upgraded with a "cancel for any reason" benefit, as well as additional medical and dental coverage, a rental car damage waiver, and hazardous sports benefit, among others.

The company also provides 24/7 assistance over the phone for all their clients, regardless of whether they're short- or long-distance travelers. One minor detail to keep in mind is that, with most of their plans, the company will charge a $50 deductible before the emergency accident and sickness coverage takes effect unless additional coverage is purchased.

The company maintains strong issuer credit ratings with all major credit rating services including Moody's, Standard & Poors, and A.M. Best, which has awarded them an a- (Excellent) rating after an extensive review period. It must be noted that Arch Capital's credit outlooks have been downgraded to "negative" based on the additional risk taken on by the company through the purchase of a mortgage insurance corporation in 2016.

However, these outlooks may be revised to stable if the measure of financial leverage decreases over time and mortgage insurance risk remains in check.

Actual travel assistance and concierge services are not provided through RoamRight, but a third party company, On Call International. On Call will render services such as providing pre-trip information, concierge services like booking and ticketing, and travel assistance including interpreting services and cash advance assistance.

The aforementioned features are not insurance benefits and there may be additional costs associated with the goods and services provided, which will the sole responsibility of the policyholder.

Worst travel insurance company ever. Ok as long as you don't need to file a claim. Looking for people to join us in our complaints against them with the Attorneys General of Maryland, New York, and Missouri. Buy ANYTHING but this company's policies.
