We recently had a mover from AL to GA with Safeway Moving. When the guys came on move day, there were 3 guys who came to move. They called me 30min beforehand and checked with my address. I was highly impressed with their professionalism, speed of working, positive work ethic, and always checking with me on things as the move progressed throughout the day. Even though I did a pretty good job of packing my own things (My choice), they made sure everything was packed and padded in the best way possible and re-padded certain items to make sure it was good. Safeway Moving was a great choice, I didn't know how I was going to move until I found them. Their charges were really adequate, the quote came out to be exactly what I expected, but of course it cost me something but not exaggeratedly like the other moving companies were charging me. The work was done professionally and the pick up was also on time. On the day of the arrival I was awaken by a call and it was the movers asking if I was home, I didn't really think they were going to arrive in time. Recently I moved from one location to another and utilized Safeway Moving for the first time. If I could give more then 5 stars I would. First I set up all details with Eaves from the office she was courteous and so very helpful and friendly. She set up the move and Daniel and his crew of three other men arrived a few minutes early on the big day. They were very punctual, friendly and extremely efficient and professional. Now where do I start with my experience of Safeway Moving? To be completely honest, my experience has been nothing short of amazing in every single way possible, from start to finish! I initially made contact with company to request a quote and was provided with one that I was very happy with, promptly on the same day. Following that, their communications were consistently excellent and they explained everything that would happen on the day in detail, so I was kept in the loop and knew exactly what to expect. Safeway Moving did an amazing job on my move. The sales department explained all the information to me regarding their services. They had sent a visual estimator out, but after I check around it turned out their price was the most fair of the ones I looked into, so I went with them. It was a two day pick up for my 4 bedroom house and 6 of their guys came to do the move. They packed all my things on the first day, everything looked perfect. They loaded it all on the second day. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a moving company. I needed to move from MI to AZ and needed help. I was looking for affordable and reliable honest people to make this move easy since I had a lot of stuff to move. I called for a quote and spoke with Edwin. She asked a couple questions and instantly quoted me the best rate compared to other companies I called. I can't say enough good things about this company. I called in a pinch, and they worked very hard to get me moved out fast. I bugged them a lot on the phone, and they were very kind and empathic. When the movers came, I believe their names were Buehler and Peter, they were the best lads anyone could ask for, and I feel lucky. I really do. They were so polite and professional, courteous and organized. They were lovely to myself and my 72 year old mother. We didn't have to lift a thing. We had very valuable antique pieces of furniture and big pieces of art work, all of which meant a lot to our family. They listened to all our stories and took great care with each piece. Horrible not even worth one star. Everything arrived broken, my sage lock was cracked open And all of my personal jewelry my late mothers jewelry and my late husband’s jewelry was stolen which is a felony and yet no one gets back to me Barbara who was in charge of the account never return calls Brian ignored me who was the sales rep to get me to sign I can’t believe how they refused to address such a horrible horrible mouth I have pictures of everything that has been destroyed antiques and all my heart is broken do not trust this company whatsoever
I was very hesitant when the movers arrived because I heard a lot of horror stories from friends about the moving experience with other companies. Although I felt a little confident cause it was a referral from a friend but in the back of mind I was still worried. The movers came in the morning exactly on time. I spoke with them and expressed what I wanted moved and how and they were very responsive. As they started loading I went to the room to box some personal things. When I want back to the living room the couches, coffee tables, side table, entertainment center and TV were already professionally packaged and ready to load. Safeway Moving was GREAT. If you're thinking of using movers, I definitely recommend them. My husband and I moved from LA to CA, and they handled everything with care and professionalism. For most of setting up the move, I dealt with Alfred, and he was super helpful and nice--it was awesome! He worked with us and made clear that if we had any questions at all, just to let him know. We were packing all of our own boxes except for a big heavy antique mirror, the piano, and a few lamps. He really held our hand every step of the way.
