In the past year, there have been 10 complaints filed with the Department of Transportation against Safeway. This is not a particularly high number of complaints; many moving companies have more.

Brokers like Safeway Moving Systems are at a disadvantage when it comes to controlling their reputation in the marketplace. They're middlemen. Middlemen can be very useful. For one thing, they can sometimes find you a lower price than you might be able to find yourself on many services, including moving. But with Safeway, you need to keep in mind that the company that carries your boxes down the stairs and drives them where they need to go is not going to be the company you signed a contract with. That means that Safeway isn't always responsible for customers' problems—either physically or legally. It also means the reviews and complaints you read about the company may actually be about one of Safeway's partner moving companies. What I loved most about working with these guys was that they really kept in touch with me every step in the way, which is extremely helpful when you are already under a lot of stress with the move. They delivered my items on time and the process was easy. Overall I would highly recommend Safeway Moving Systems to everyone in a heart-beat.

From a reasonable price, to assuring me that all of my belongings would be safe and sound, I was quite pleased with the service! I honestly wouldn't recommend them enough. These guys are definitely worth your time.

Great movers, I had the pleasure of using Safeway moving today and I'll be very honest i am very impressed and super glad I went with this company.  They follow up with you via email and answer any questions you have, are timely, show excellent customer service by going above and beyond. They made my move from New York to Connecticut very seamless. All my furniture was wrapped and they took good care of it making sure nothing got damaged. I really appreciate all their help and highly recommend for anyone moving.

I had a quick move going up the block. Two movers and a truck moving a small space. The Safeway Moving were Polite movers, communicative & time managed my whole move. They all were very helpful and thorough. I recommend Safeway Moving service to all.
