I'm extremely pleased with the service I received from Safeway Moving. I moved from AL to CA in November, and all my things arrived in perfect condition in a relatively timely manner. I was nervous about choosing a moving company because you hear so many horror stories. I chose Safeway Moving because they my brother had used them thrice in the past- so I figured they would be a good choice and they were. I was assigned a move coordinator who was very responsive and answered my thousands of annoying questions in a timely and courteous manner. I cannot say enough about Safeway Moving! Every single step from the moment I called for an estimate right up until the move was done was easy and efficient. We were moving from MT to AZ and had no idea what was needed and what to expect. Antonio answered all of my many questions along the way promptly, the staff that came to our house were lovely, and the driver was amazing. Our belongings had to be stored for a couple of weeks prior to being moved into the house, and we were thrilled to see our same driver on other end guiding the delivery folks through the unloading and unpacking. Daren and his team were PHENOMENAL. They were all smiles and so friendly even while moving the abundant amount of furniture and boxes from our two-bedroom apartment to our three-story townhome. They got everything done in five hours, which we quoted, and there were no hidden fees or additional fees for cling wrap and cushions to protect fragile items. Nothing was broken or damaged, and everything went smoothly. I could not recommend a moving company more, and I will use Safeway Moving if I ever move again in the future! Justin was beneficial and kind throughout deciding a time and how many hours we would need based on our move.
Anyone who is reading this and trying to decide which moving company to use, take it from me. You will not be disappointed choosing Safeway Moving. There is nothing I hate more than moving. I've moved myself from apartment to apartment, but decided to try out a moving company this time around for a long distance move. They not only made my move a piece of cake, they were friendly and happy and so easy to work with. They showed up on time to the first location where I only had a few items for them to move. As an interior designer, I’ve worked with many moving companies. I have also moved personally three times in the last three years. I can honestly say that this was by far the best company I have worked with. From the sales team, to the moving crew, everyone was extremely friendly and professional. On the day of the actual move, the movers went above and beyond to fit large furniture into small spaces and moved pieces within the house when I changed my mind about the layout. We hired Safeway Moving for our summer vacation move, and they were wonderful. It was simple to arrange the move with Jonathan. The crew members were all fantastic. Courteous, professional, and incredibly supportive. They worked quickly and got us all moved in about 3 hours, which was great for our schedule as well as keeping the budget low. They handled our belongings with care, and not a single piece was damaged during the move. We were apprehensive about hiring movers for the first time, but we had a great experience and will plan to hire them again.
First of all moving is such a pain anyway and this one was just pure stress. We had a date set and everything in motion except movers. We had called, emailed a bunch of places, and honestly I had had enough I wasn't comfortable with anyone and they all seemed shady. My girlfriend then took over and within minutes sent me Safeway Moving link. I called them and spoke to Zachary and immediately was at ease. She was so nice and informed me of everything you would hope a company would tell you even the "hidden" fees as you would say. Which they didn't have any. They were very honest. The team were exactly on time and worked super fast and efficiently. Before the move, I was a bit worried about moving some pieces of furniture through a very narrow hallway. But they moved all the valuables very efficiently through the tight spaces in my house. All the stress of the “big move day” dissipated as soon as I saw how friendly, careful, fast and efficient the guys were! I couldn’t be happier. We had a tough timeline as we needed to move out and in at the very same day. It was not a simple task with our two-bedroom condo filled with books (heavy ones) and pictures. I contacted these guys, and they responded right away with "Sure, no problem". Indeed it was no problem for them. They came, packed everything with a smile, moved our stuff to the new location, unpacked and put everything in place. They made our move so easy that the very next day, after a little clean-up and decorating the place, we enjoyed the new apartment as if we hadn't just moved. Fantastic!
