Byte launched its teledentistry platform in 2019 and has since enjoyed remarkable growth in the invisible aligner market. The company's low-cost, guaranteed impression kit, staff of licensed dentists and orthodontists, as well the free product enhancements it offers, make Byte an attractive option for patients who need mild to moderate orthodontic correction.

Byte represents itself as a company that will take care of its customers throughout the teeth-straightening process. This is totally untrue. Once I got my first set of aligners I was completely on my own. The fine print of their customer service Contact Page said it "could" take "up to" 6 days to hear back from a representative...and that's exactly how long it took every single time I sent a message to them. I would send an email, 6 days later I would get a clearly generic response from someone who didn't even read my message fully. Want to try calling? They'll tell you that you need to message them so you can send pictures of your issue. Which is fine, I would understand if pictures are... Read More

Something I thought would be ten weeks has turned into eight+ months. It’s nearly impossible to get actual feedback; there are no actual dentists in sight. I’m once again (now on my “revision treatment”) almost “done” with my treatment with no change in my dentition whatsoever noticeable. It’s been absolutely awful having to spend ten hours+ a day wearing these bulky aligners and having to use this hyperbite for 30 minutes (since I was told it was “only an ideal situation in which you only use it for 10 mins a night” and in only “best case scenario” that I would actually finish my treatment in the intended time). I would not relent this program to my worst enemy.

Since starting my treatment plan with byte, it has been the best decisions I've made in a long time regarding my smile. I experience very little (and limited) discomfort the first day or so and then it's as if nothing is there! I would highly recommend this service to anybody with mild crowding or gaps for that confidently radiant smile!
