iSmartAlarm Summary

In Conclusion

iSmartAlarm is an award-winning home security company that is ideal for consumers looking for affordable, easy-to-install, self-monitoring home security systems.

The company offers pan & tilt cameras, 110 db sirens, motion sensors, door and window sensors, remote tags, and window decals.

iSmartAlarm’s pan & tilt cameras allow for motion control and live-monitoring through the company’s app, meaning consumers have total control and visibility from any location as long as they have access to the internet on their mobile devices.

iSmartAlarm helps consumers save money because their equipment is designed for easy do-it-yourself installation, which helps avoid steep installation fees, as well as save time and energy.

The wireless nature of all of iSmartAlarm’s equipment makes the company standout as an ideal security system for renters and for consumers who move around a lot.

The system’s simple and efficient notification-by-text lets consumers know instantly when a motion or contact sensor has been triggered. These notifications can also be sent to multiple contacts by text, push, call, and email in case of emergency.

The company’s app also lets consumers view system logs and current sensor and device status, meaning consumers can check on their mobile devices which doors and windows are open or closed.

Because the system is completely self-monitored, consumers will have to check if the situation is a real emergency or a false alarm and then contact the police themselves if necessary.

Some of the benefits of iSmartAlarms’ self-monitoring is that consumers won’t have to pay a monthly fee, consumers don’t need to worry about a monitoring station going offline, and there’s no risk of a third-party gaining access to consumers’ personal information or monitoring systems.

Although iSmartAlarm does not feature home automation services, it is compatible with Amazon’s virtual assistant, Alexa, and iPhones, Androids, and smart watch apps.

The company offers 6 different packages in order to meet various budgets and also offers a 1-year warranty.

Finally, although not a great fit for consumers looking for home automation or professional installation and monitoring, iSmartAlarm should be a strong contender for consumers looking for smart, efficient, and straightforward D-I-Y and self-monitoring home security systems.

iSmartAlarm would get a 4 star rating from me IF I THOUGHT THE COMPANY WAS SOLVENT. As time marches on, more and more of their detectors and devices are no longer available or as the company web site lists them "out of stock." It seems like once they get tagged as out of stock they are never available again. I really like their gear, it works well. Some pieces may have pesky problems, such as the keypads, but mine has always worked as advertised. I wish Amazon would take them over because the product itself work quite well and is absolutely as easy as they say it is to install.

Started out good but started having problems with my camera picking up someone else’s home/kitchen! I’ve made numerous attempts calling, emails etc... never get a response! If you can’t service your customers you should not be selling products to the public!
