They have truly exceptional customer service, they provide high quality equipment at a reasonable price, and I simply feel (quite strongly) that it is a -high quality- company in general. Quality is important to them and it shows.

I've had Front Point for 4 years now. My initial research was thorough. Indeed they were the best at that time, and maybe still are. All my experiences with them have been positive so far. No representative has has ever been rude me. All calls with them have been very helpful. After a seconds attempt was made to break into our home, and thwarted by the security system, they followed up with me and asked if there was anything they could do to improve my service, and ultimately sent me a $250 seconds camera for free. Since then, we had many false alarms because my mother had trouble arming and disarming the system, and their customer service was always Johnny on the Spot, and courteous, even though it did become a nuisance. And like I said, I did my homework before calling. The one thing I will agree with other reviewers is that I did not agree to a 3 year contract, but found one in my profile, digitally signed by me (which never happened). In fact, I recall my agreement was for 1 year, not 3 years. When I found that document, after 3 years of service, I just about flipped my lid. That really upset me, and was considering dropping them. At this time, I am looking onto other services because I do not like their pricing model, or their crappy camera's. The cameras are impossible to configure the motion sensing. And the video capture is terrible. Jerky and grainy, even when set to max resolution and smoothness. It's very unfortunate I am considering moving to another service because or prices on their equipment. A good example, is the battery in the base station keeps going bad. I have a low battery warning now, and it was only installed for a year before sending warnings. The battery was sent no charge because it failed after 1 year, but the second failed after 1 year, and I am currently without a battery backup now. The equipment is terribly overpriced. I've bought several window sensors at $39 each. No more. Tired of that.

I asked Simplisafe to respond to the negative review: Thank you for reaching out to us! I understand that you have seen a bad review of our company and would like it addressed. I cannot speak for this person's exact experience but I can correct some information that has been stated and provide a possible explanation to their poor experience. - The Base Station, which all Sensors connect to, is able to communicate with components at a range of up to 400ft. Of course, in a real-world environment, interference may impede the signal. Other signals nearby (from devices such as WiFi routers or wireless weather stations), as well as physical obstructions (such as dense walls, metallic siding, or large appliances), will tend to have a strong impact on wireless range. So we would recommend that you keep your sensors within 100-150ft of the Base Station to ensure a stable connection. - It is possible that items such as wireless routers, being located right next to the Base Station (3-5 ft) can cause interference, not allowing the sensor to communicate with the Base Station. It's best to think of these signals like a vocal command. Sometimes the Base Station is unable to "hear" the command coming from the sensor if there are too many other signals in close proximity to the Base. But it is important to note that this is not always the case, and often times we do not experience this problem. - The person is correct in stating that the Base Station should not be located in the kitchen. We've found that kitchen appliances can affect the signal from the sensors to the Base Station as well as the signal from the Base Station to the cellular network. - Light switches will not affect the functionality of a Keypad. It would need to be another wireless item located directly next to the Keypad to affect the signal. Recently we extended our customer support hours so that we are more available to our customers (see hours listed below). We understand that previously only being open during regular office hours was not enough for customers. People who need assistance with their system will need to be on location, so we are now available at more convenient times.

Have had my system for over a year - cost was just over $400 but I also have 4 motion sensors - can get on line and do just about anything I need without any help - installed system in about an hour - have not had any problems and would not change service even for the "free systems".

Had three years and have had no issues. Someone keeps calling to say they will update my equipment and no charge. They have all my information and said they are calling from the manufacture. I called SimpliSafe and they are not aware of the offer.

Great system. Easy to install and test. Adding extra components is easy as wConvenience ell which allows a customized installation. A bit pricey but the conveinience in ease of set up makes it worth it. Extremely sensitive components with excellent wireless coverage.
