So dealing with this company is a night mare. Installed system on Aug 27/2018 it is Sept 4/2018 I am going through the terrible navigation that they have for cancelling the system. I stopped payment on any further funds coming from my account. I called customer service and told them I want to cancel, due to the fact I don't wish to be locked into a 4 or 5 year contract. I called Sept 3 to cancel (which you only have 10 days to cancel) the rep said they will direct me to the resolution department and will have them call me back in 24 to 48 hours. I called back Sept 4, 2018 and now the rep tells me she will have the cancellation contact me...which I am suspecting that they won't... Read More

I recently had this put in my home. Customer service is not good and my equipment which I already had did not work correct even though they said it would. They also said they would buy out the last three months of my already installed system. Didn't happen. Customer service did not respond until I filed a complaint with the BBB. Also found out they don't even have a licence in my state. Trying to cancel my service. Still in the middle of this. My system also sent out false signals.

Current customer. just under 2 years. Problems from the start with installation. Have had issues with 3 different monitors. Was told $35 to have someone come look at. issue amounted to defect, and replaced. I have not been able to utilize for about 3 Months, even right after a service tech was here. The Service Tech is only available in this area at limited times. Now lets talk Customer Service. In my All Time Worst Top 3 in my Life. I recently tried talking to somebody about terminating my contract, based on the Company not nearly fulfilling their part. 1st Call, customer service hours later called me back. First they took away Vivint which I am now paying for Vivint and Fluent at a cost well over $100 until Vivint runs out. Promised me a seniors discount which I did not qualify for. My front door never locks and if it does it kills the batteries (4) while doing so. Sensors, locks, are Vivint. They upgraded to junk for Fluent. The thermostat does not work at all. It sets it own temp various times of the days and projects to that ultimate high or low. Example if I pre set for 21.5 a constant, by 4 pm on cool my house internal temp is 28.5 and at night if I set it for 21.5 the house will drop down to 16.5 on heat. This company has horrible business practices. They tricked my 80 yr old parents into signing a contract with them by saying they had bought out ADT, which is completely untrue. My parents were told that the contract would be for the same price as ADT, which was 33$/month taxes included, but they are actually charging 38$/month Now my parents have sold their house and have moved into a secured apartment. Fluent refuses to cancel the contract. So my parents have been paying out of the meager pension 38$ a month for a service they no longer need.

Hands down the worst service I have ever received. Customer service is appalling I have had the system in my home for a little over 2 months now and I regret it majorly!! The door bell camera is a joke and the sensor keeps sending notifications to our phones everytime a car drives by on average we wake up to 210 messages in the morning saying the sensor was activated! When we first got the system the sales rep JACKSON for this company lied to us about the system when we asked if traffic would set off the system! We tried to cancel within 10days but they kept making false promises to fix the issue now I'm stuck with a useless alarm system because of extremely poor company with no... Read More

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY . They keep telling me they will get a higher up supervisor to call but they never do. Do not ever sign anything this company THEY do not EVER answer 'yes' to any of their questions . Very unreliable equipment. Very shady business practices. Avoid Fluent Home at all cost!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Their contracts are impossible to get out even on compassionate grounds. I was diagnosed wit terminal cancer, had to quit work, sell the house undergo treatment and survive on a meager disability pension. Because the new owners of my old home didn't sign up Fluent continued to deduct over $60/month from my bank account until I paid the bank to cancel the automatic payments.. I am receiving calls from a collector for over $1,000 in back payments. This is absolute bullshit! They will not get any money from me as I have none. Terrible service. Customer myself right now, and am extremely unhappy with their inability to fix their sensors. "Just bypass the sensor".. If I wanted to bypass the sensor, I wouldn't have had it installed. When I wanted to cancel my service, "Oh you have a contract with us" ....No, I had a contract with Alarmtek, not Fluent. You guys bought out Alarmtek, and think that their contract is still valid. They will also charge your bank account whenever they so feel to. My bill date is the 1st, they won't give me a good reason as to why they charged my bank account on the 11th. DO NOT GET SECURITY SYSTEMS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! I have to admit that I am stunned by the bad reviews I have read today about Fluent! From my initial contact, to the home visit where we discussed what we were interested in, to the installation of our system and tutorial on how to work it was awesome! Everything that we were told was done. Both of the sales tech's who came to our house were knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The installation technician was very polite, thorough and took extra time to help us install the app to operate our system without showing any sign of being bewildered by out lack of tech savvy-ness lol.
