I’m in Oregon and I called and told them the front door camera wasn’t working correctly. They receiwed the camera settings. Which were all correct and then said call us back in a few days if your still having the problem. Two weeks later Im finally getting a technition to come out and hopefully replace the faulty camera. It sucks and they don’t care. People walk up to the door and their not recorded. I watched a car pull into my driveway. The car was 15 feet from the camera and it did not record it.

I was scammed into signing up with Fluent - told that my old provider was no longer providing service in the area, and somehow was tricked into signing a 5-year contract that I would not have signed had I been made aware of it. I don't use the system much; too many false alarms. I want to cancel my service but they insist I have a 5-year contract which they will not cancel. DO NOT sign up with this company!

Very disorganized call centres and equipment is very troublesome. False alarms are common. Company does not volunteer to send out techs unless a lot of threats are made to cancel system. Just had to replace two batts in door sensors ($19) which were Lithium and lasted 25 months! Batts should of lasted min 60 months. Do your home work before deciding which security co. to use. We didn’t and are locked in for five years and are very disappointed with Fluent.

Of course malfunctions normally happens on weekends, to which there no one to resolve the on going , like the heater running in the summer in the Southwest or the twentyfour constant twinkling sound. And now that I am unhappy with the service, I find out the $85 a month service is for five years, I find out customers have difficulty canceling when the contract is over.

Scam artists. We are not customers of "Fluent", but a representative who was wearing a "Fluent" Polo Shirt came to our door this evening claiming to be a representative for our alarm system. If this was true why didn't his shirt advertise the company that we currently have service with? Why wasn't he wearing a badge? Just some guy walking the streets. No company vehicle either. He claimed that if we UPGRADED our system, he could lower our monthly costs. Why couldn't he even tell the TRUTH and say that "Fluent" was a DIFFERENT ALARM COMPANY that wasn't affiliated with our current alarm system?

This place is a joke, their stuff doesn't work half the time. You call to get it fixed and get the run around. Nobody follows up or helps. You are locked into a contract of things that they are not doing when the salesperson stops at your house. As soon as this contract is up I would rather leave my door wide open and feel safer than this horrible system and service.

I recently changed from ADT to Fluent (Horrible Choice). I was told my current internet would not support Fluents service and advised to switch to Comcast (which I've done). They told me that as soon as I switched my internet service, call them and they would return to install the camera. I called them the day before Comcast was coming to let them know, and was told they would be at my home by 5 pm that day. That didn't happen, that was around 5 days ago with no call nor email from Fluent. I even called Fluent, and was told that a credit would be added to my account and that someone would call me and set up a time for installation that same day because it was before 9am when I called and... I have been really impressed so far with my experience with Fluent. The gentleman who came to my home was thorough and professional and explained everything quite well. We were able to save $12 per month without sacrificing any change of service plan over the company that we used to have. I would recommend Fluent to any friends or neighbors without much hesitation.
