Don't be a dummy like me and sign into a 5 year contract with these doughheads. There are much better alarm services out there with much lower rates, the service is very overpriced and the contract is too legnthy and the support just plain sucks. My doorbell cam stopped working after 3 months and they still never sent anyone over to fix it or replace it after 2 years in. I thought an alarm systems were meant to prevent people from getting robbed, ironically it seems like i got robbed by this alarm company! Beware!

Yes i am, and in the past year i have ha nothing but problems, one the skybell took a dive and fluent dont fix them only skybell. Fluent and dkybell wont work together, so i have a faulty door bell that chirps conttiniously. Been this way since spring of 2018. Today is 2019 feburary. They say they will fix it but pay us money for thr past 3 months. Ha, crazy.

I joined Fluent after leaving Brinks. Fluent promised to pay off my outstanding account with Brinks. They promised to connect me with the same features I had previously. The equipment they gave me works intermittently, one of my panels does not even work. Each time I try to contact the sales rep he does not respond and gets irritated when I suggest complaining to head office. I am paying close to $80 per month for a partial alarm system. I try to contact Fluent, and each time I log on it connects me to Brinks Security? What can I do? Lady English, Atlanta, GA

My new home came with a Fluent security system and a free 3-month trial . From setting up the account to disconnecting, service was horrible. The account manager seemed to only be able to contact me by email, even though he said he'd call. When I was told to call an 800 number to arrange installation of the video doorbell, they couldn't do it and referred me back to the account manager. I contacted him again and asked him to call. If I hadn't checked my email I never would have known the installer was coming. Installer was OK, but late arriving. He was in a big hurry because he had a long drive home. Re Cancellation and Termination of Contract that is set to expire. I will complete my 5 year contract this January 28, 2019. Yes, I am having a hard time to get an immediate response or confirmation regarding my cancellation request sent through fax and UPS Mail (which I believe will automatically renew if I do not get to send a written and signed cancellation request 30 days prior). It has only been 3 working days since I sent my fax request. Additionally, I also had a hard time getting to the proper channel to submit my request, I was told via Live Chat to call their support team, and then their support team informed me that both Phone or email is not an acceptable form of request.... Moved to a new home in the same city, Thunder Bay, Ontario Unable after over a month to get the system reinstalled in the new location. Had to remove it from the original location myself as no one ever called me back to schedule the removal by a Fluent tech. Still waiting for a call back to schedule a reinstall. Five phone calls to Fluent Customer Service have produced ZERO results. Tried to stop auto payments on my Visa card but Visa wont do that. Even if I cancel the card, they will likely still bill me on behalf of Fluent. Fluent was quick to charge me $100 to switch locations however when I did the removal they verbally told me they would refund $50, but this hasn't been done... Read More

You'll regret the day you signed up with this company! First our camera didn't work, they charged us to fix their faulty equipment. Next the door alarm malfunctioned. Again we had to pay for them to come out and fix their fault equipment. I had to pay $360 to have them replace faulty equipment and it hasn't even been 12 months. Its now winter and the heat setting on our thermostat is acting up and resetting to 37 degrees F when we like it at 68-71 degrees f so I wake up every night freezing to have to manually change it only to have it reset again to 37 degrees F within a few minutes. They charged me $15 to send out a new one and they expect me to install it myself. FFS stay away from this... Read More

The salesman went into my 89 yr old mother’s home, as well as several other seniors in my hometown in Manitoba, proceeded to talk circles to her then had some others come in start the installation all while she was alone with them. The installed the equipment, had her sign a FIVE year contract and never told her she has 48 hrs to cancel or she was stuck with it. She got sick and could no longer stay alone in the house, I called and explained she was moving. I was told they needed a letter from her Dr which I sent them, then about seven months later I got a call saying she still owed over $2,000.00 so I politely told they could write it off as a bad debt or I would go public with how they... I have my serbice for about 3yrs now. My xamera stopped working on my house and living in a high crime area i was concerned and called. They cancelled my first appointment and whwn i called to reschedule they now charge a service feeof 35.00 to send a tech out. Mind you since not a local service takes multiple weeks to arrive. I will definitely be looking for another alarm service. Paying 73.00 a month is robbery. Horrible customer care
