DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE. They have the worst customer service and arrangements. They say their family owned and operated but you’re not gonna get to talk to anybody but a customer service rep that’s not even in the country probably. I made my order. It was supposed to be delivered to the hospital that morning. They called me midday and said they didn’t have the arrangement that I ordered and I said well let me give you an alternative address in case she has gone home instead of taking it to the hospital. I received a text that my flowers were delivered, my sister was in her hospital room recovering from surgery all day and never received them. All the room info and hospital address was correct. At 9pm she asked a nurse if there were flowers at the desk and she said no but there was a "sorry we missed you" note on my sister's door. The delivery driver never went into her room, nor did they deliver my sister's flowers nor even to the nurses station, yet I was texted the flowers had been delivered. I have been waiting 36 hours for a delivery and Ava’s customer service informed me that my order will be delivered yesterday. And no that’s not a typo. That is what they said and when asked to explain that statement, they could not. Unbelievable

If it was possible to give them zero stars, I would have chosen that. My parents ordered flowers through "Ava's Flowers" and checked the box for "condolence card". Obviously this was for a HUMAN funeral. Furthermore, my mom wrote a special, personal message to put in the card that specifically said "There is no greater pain on Earth than when a child dies". Ava's Flowers thought it was then appropriate to pick out a condolence card FOR A PET. An animal! They didn't even write my mom's message inside the card - they printed it out, misspelled it, and then taped it to the inside of this PET condolences card. The only good thing I can say is that it was delivered on time. The flowers for my mother’s funeral were nothing like the picture: I ordered large; it was medium at best, the picture had 6 roses; mine had 1, the ribbon (to match her dress) was white not blue like the picture, the dark blue flowers in the picture were pale, it was listed as being on a stand and was sitting on a table. Completely disappointed!! I will never order from Avas Flowers in Peoria, IL again.

I ordered flowers for a funeral the morning of the visitation. They told me no problem, it would be there on time. At 2:00 pm they called and said they couldn’t get it there by the visitation nor would it be there for the funeral! Thanks to Plainwell Flowers , a plant was delivered on time!! I will never use Ava’s Flowers again!!!!

Ordered an arrangement that was suppose to be lavender, Purple and pink. It turned out mostly pink. This was a male who had passed. It was not the same as the picture.

Was supposed to have a delivery on 10/28/23 and the florist it was assigned to just didn't complete the order. Was not informed that it was not done until I called to see why the arrangement was not delivered. Will not be using them again!

If I could give ZERO stars I would. My husband sent me flowers, a big beautiful bouquet is what he chose, what I received was absolutely nothing compared to what he ordered. What should’ve been a beautiful moment was actually humiliating to receive what I did at my place of employment. This has never happened with other companies, I’m really disappointed with Avas flowers for this situation and the type of customer service I received to deal with the situation. I will never forget that moment of WTF is this shit, felt like a prank. Delivery person must have been embarrassed to deliver that they left OUTSIDE of suite door and they delivered the day after they were supposed to be.
