I called and placed an order for a funeral arrangement . It couldn’t be a same day delivery but I was promised an 8am delivery the next morning. I’m in Ca and funeral in Pa. Found out when I called that they just put the order into some computer program they use. There is never a verification some shop picked up the order. So my order never got placed. I wasn’t notified! I found out when I called they called it a failed delivery. I feel they accepted and I paid for an order they never fully processed! For a funeral! This is totally unacceptable! No conscious. Never use Ava’s on line florest. Especially for anything you care about.

Shame on me for not reading the reviews first. I ordered flowers to celebrate a new baby. Flowers were delivered promptly, however they looked like they were dug out the garbage and didn’t resemble the photo. They were actually thrown out the same day. I spoke with a representative who assured me a satisfactory replacement would be sent the next day. 4 days later and no replacement. I am contacting my bank for a refund. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Your floral service, arrangement, delivery and dependability SUCKS. Flowers look nothing like the luxury arrangement I paid for. False delivery confirmation. I ordered 2 days prior to delivery date and the flowers were out of stock. Weren’t even started until 5 pm on delivery date and obviously throw together. Never Again!!!

I have no clue why they have a 5 star rating. Someone sent me flowers to be delivered Feb 13-14th. I never received them nor did I receive a phone call. I called them directly on Feb 15 and they told me that the flowers were out for delivery and would be at my home before the end of the day. It’s 11:30 PM eastern time in my flowers haven’t arrived.. the guard gate is aware and this company has been called in. I just don’t get it. No words.

I experienced the same kind of bait and switch that another customer experienced. I ordered 2 dozen roses for almost $190. My credit card was run, and my order was confirmed. A few hours later, they text me to say there is a problem with my order. I called, and they told me they could not deliver my order on Valentine’s Day, but it would be there the day after and I would get a discount. Well, today is the day after, and I got another text saying there was an urgent issue. I called, and they told me that they cannot deliver the 2 dozen roses I ordered, but they would send another arrangement with daisies, mums, and some other nonsense. I wish I had read these reviews. I would give zero starts if it were an option. Sent balloons and a medium teddy to my niece in the hospital. She didn’t get them. Called the hospital. Small one and they took it seriously and said it was never delivered. Ava’s sent me a photo as “proof” of delivery. One balloon and one balloon in a bag. No teddy bear. And hospital says it’s not any place they recognize. Ava’s refuses to answer me now and says they will not refund me. Contesting the charge with my credit card company.

$185 for 1 dozen roses!!! Engages in bait and switch. And if they really are a national florist, where is the FTD logo? The banner that sometimes appears for free delivery or a percentage off never ever really happens. They got some tiny little disclaimer at the bottom that says depending on where the person lives and the time of checkout, which I guess covers them. But when you check out then the banner isn't valid, in other words they had no intention of giving you any special deal. This in itself is illegal; bait and switch is illegal. I ordered for Valentines day. Did not get receipt. Requested receipt and on receipt they said deliver 21 Feb. I was livid. 29.00 Service fee to be late on Valentines Day. Again, no receipt date changed from what I requested. Submitted my disgusted to their web site, they said Customer Service would call me. Been 2 hours.... NOTHING. High priced for NO SERVICE.
