My husband ordered an arrangement to be delivered on Christmas Day. He paid extra for that service. It was not delivered on Christmas Day and what was delivered was not what he ordered. He paid $122 for a beautiful arrangement he showed me on their site. What I got was eleven carnations stuffed in a small vase with baby's breath a nine year old could have arranged. When I tried to go to the website to complain, pressed the "I did not get what I ordered" tab a message about substitutions popped up. I understand substitutions but I don't understand substituting an $11.99 bouquet for a $122 one.

As a REAL Local florist, I find that Avas Flower's is more of a floral website which portray's themselves as being in towns that they are not. They use real florists, such as myself in the town clients are sending flowers to. Sadly, they expect the real florist to fill the order for a fraction of what they have charged their client and frequently the form of payment given fails, especially around holidays. This is always awkward. It usually means that a delivery will be made late. EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN AFFECTED BY THIS SCAM NEEDS TO REACH OUT TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU OR ANY ONE ELSE THAT CAN INVESTIGATE THIS.. CAN IT BE THAT ALL FLORISTS ALL OVER THE COUNTRY ARE NOT FULFILLING ORDERS OR IS AVA'S KEEPING YOUR $$ AND JUST NOT SENDING ORDERS TO THEIR "AFFILIATED FLORISTS" THIS SMELLS LIKE A SCAM!!!

Very disappointed!!! You all should be ashamed of your selfs! You don't even deserve a 1 for your service. You substituted an order of flowers placed with a flower arrangement of much lesser quality and cost, yet charged me for the original flowers I ordered. That is call "Bait and Switch" and against the law! Additionally, there was a stuff doll that was part of the gift set to my elderly mother, which was absent from the order delivered. Thus, a substitution to lesser quality of flowers and an incomplete order, yet I was charged premium as if the order Ava's Flowers delivered was the original order. HORRIBLE... I ordered a sympathy Dish Garden Basket (over $100) to a home and even got a DELIVERY CONFIRMATION that the order was delivered. HOWEVER, during a conversation with the recipient, I learned to my horror and embarrassment that the basket NEVER ARRIVED! Outraged, I called customer service - somewhere across the globe- and she put me on hold to reach out the the "affiliated florist" who claimed to deliver my order. No answer from them!! I asked WHO was the florist, she said she "could not share the name as it is a security issue not releasing names of affiliated florists".... Bullshit! This company added a service charge after I had ordered. It is a classic bin switch. It is impossible to reach the company. I would never use them again.

Unacceptable "Service," if you call it that. I ordered online. Flowers were not delivered on my requested date. I called Avis directly to advise them. The customer service representative apologized and said they would deliver the floral arrangement by the end of the week. (I called on a Wednesday.) The arrangement did not arrive on Friday. I called Avis again, advising them of the poor service. They assured me the arrangement would be delivered next week. The arrangement was delivered late the next week. This is the worst flower company I have ever had to deal with. There is no way they should carry a 5 star rating. They don't deliver what you order, and they don't back up their policies. They should not be in business. Linda from Troy MO
