This Business defrauds Consumers out of their money. If you are looking to purchase a vehicle añd cancel the sale.This Insurancé Agency will not refund your money as they're theives. NAIC needs to file charges and penalties against this type of business practice. I have been owed $221.00 for over 2 years The General refused to refund my assets as if this money is keepiñg their lights on .

They haven't been great at customer service... We are still waiting on the answer about our totaled car, they haven't told us much information... I only found out (from the car rental place) that the insurance extended my rental car, that evening I was about to take it back

I have been with The General for a year and a half now, paying all the premium religiously. I recently hit a curb when turning into a parking lot, damaging a transfer case. They refused to covered, saying that it is a mechanical issue, and not caused by the impact. This company is a fraud. Stay away from them, go somewhere else. They will find ways to deny your claim.

This company is a joke. I would not give them half a star let alone one full star but in order to review I had to. To make a long story short, Get out before you ever file a claim with them and if you do have to file a claim plan on having to get an attorney to resolve the issue Run as fast as you can AWAY from this insurance company. they should be out of business.
