They claim that in California you can get car insurance for $20/mo. The quotes I was provided with my accident-free, middle-aged, low mileage driving record started at $65/mo and went up, which is more than I'm paying for my current by-the-mile auto insurer. Who in the world is getting this alleged $20/mo car insurance?
Quote Wizard is a scam! Do not give these people your personal information!
Worst business to business customer support I have ever experienced. I would not recommend them to anyone nor ever do business with them again.
wasted my time. spent 15 mins on the phone just to be transferred and had to repeat it all over again to get transferred again. when I got on the phone with state Farm in a town over 150 miles away they didn't have my information and wanted me to repeat it. She than realized I didn't live there and she asked me to call my local office. After that telephone call i started to get calls from hotels and many more. wouldn't use this site ever again and highly don't recommend
This business gives out your phone number, You won't get quotes but links to Insurance companies. You will start getting calls that don't even pertain to Insurance.
Was expecting to receive multiple quotes online. Instead I got spammed with phone calls and ONE bad quote.
If you call any insurance lead company you will get hundreds of calls for at least several years. No matter what I say the same companies will just continue to call you. It was so awful I decided not to buy from anyone who called more than once
Great Site for researching EXCEPT they share your information with every Insurance company on earth it seems. And I could not even finish reviewing the quotes before my phone started ring constantly from every insurance company that I was NOT researching. I am on the do not call list and now this has made a mess of that since my phone number was purchased by State Farm, Countryside, and many others. UGHHHHH!!!!!
QuoteWizard states "No Personl Information required for quotes", but that's a lie! When you start, it demands your personal information and then some in order to move forward. I backed out of this, angrier than a angry bird! Typical hype to sell your personal information to the world out there , etc., etc. No way
I absolutely hate this 'service'.
I did not agree to a barrage of unsolicited phone calls - 3 calls within the first 4 mins!
I was expecting actual quotes once I'd given you my info, not to have to go to other sites to add the info again.
False advertising, they claim on their site that after you give them all your personal information they would provide you with different quotes right away. Instead, my information was taken sold, got call from multiple "white glove" hand holding services offering to call different insurance companies, and that "i don't have to worry about entering menu entries when we get insurance company automated phone system, as they will glady press the button for me" ... are you kidding me, what kind of Micky-mouse business is this?
I was expecting getting various quotes online. Instead, before I had finished typing all my information, I started getting phone calls from insurance companies. Go to your own insurance agent. You're better off than QuoteWizard. All they seem to be is a personal information gathering marketing company passing on ALL your information to who knows who.
Thought there would be multiple quotes online as a guidance. Phone calls started within minutes. No messages. When I was able to pick up the phone, the gentleman wanted to review my needs or something in order to put me in touch with an agent. I’m betting these guys work on sales commissions. That’d be ok if the company would be honest about collecting info online.
Demonstrably a criminal scammer. Once they get your contact info, they sell it far and wide. You get emails, calls on your mobile phone, home phone, and letters from third-party sellers of extended car "warranties", phony lowball insurance quotes, and all kinds of junk from everywhere.
QuoteWizard is probably some jerk sitting on the edge of his bed with a laptop and a sour attitude.
My phone rang as soon as I hit send. She wanted to "axe" me a few questions and could barely read her script. I'm seriously looking for home owners quotes but not willing to be barraged with low level nonsensical "qualifying" calls. I just supplied all the information she was "axing" for.
They are selling the information for telemarketing. No quotes just link and you will be bombarded with calls.
Tried to use quote wizard to compare home insurance. Filled out all of the information plus email and phone number. They flat out tell you that you are agreeing to telemarketing calls from their website and all of the insurers listed below if you click the "Get my quotes" button, so you would figure they would at last be able to compare multiple quotes for you, but when you click the button, the site simply gives you a link to another insurance company where you have to start the quote over from scratch. The website it just a ploy to build up consumer calling lists and then sell them off.
I wanted to compare the quotes online, but within 1 min from the moment I supplied my phone number to them, I received 5 calls and 1 message about the insurance I asked. They sold my information. Unacceptable.
Instead of providing me with quotes, the site gave me links to 2 sites to re-add my information. Now I will be bombarded with emails and telephone calls because I had to provide this information just to get to the screen that gave me the 2 links.
I did not realizing I was using their "service", was trying to research some info online. I received 25 calls in a two hour period. These people SUCK!
Useless! Doesn't give actual quotes, just emails links to insurance companies where you have to fill out all the information again! Might as well just go to the websites directly.
do not use this site...they do NOT provide insurance quote, they only take your personal information, AFTER they tell you they dont, and forward to all insurance companies....you phone will begin ringing with solicitations even before you log off their site...this site is a fake and a fraud.
It specifically states that no personal information is needed for a quote, which is not true. Also now I am getting calls and e-mails from phantom companies. I do not underdand why this company is top rated.
