Davis Vision includes comprehensive eye exams on its vision insurance plans, which include visual acuity tests, visual field tests, refraction tests, slit lamp evaluation, glaucoma tests, dilation, and health review.

Davis Vision's exclusive collection of frames and contact lenses are available in over 9,000 partner offices across the country, which can be easily located via a convenient online tool, by simply logging into a customer's online account. Members can select from over 200 frame collections valued up to $195 for no more than a $40 co-payment.

The Davis frames are cheap and the lens are much thicker than normal lenses. They tweeked the frames that the optometrist sent them. The glasses are unusable. Do not waste your money by getting glasses through them.

Worst company ever....... I had to call Davis Vision to pay for a voucher before I received an eye doctors exam. Davis Vision billed my credit card right away, they did not inform the eye doctor office of the paid voucher. When I arrived at the eye doctors appointment I could not be seen because Davis Vision did not provide them with the information required (prepaid voucher number). The eye doctors office was on the phone with Davis Vision for over a half hour trying to figure it out, I called Davis Vision to pay for another voucher for an eye exam. Davis vision will cover $200 for frames, but ONLY for Davis Vision frames. If you go this route, be prepared to replace the frames frequently. They are cheap, thin pieces of plastic made in China. Davis Vision does this so that dollars are funneled directly back to them. The only cover $130 toward a better quality frames that do not belong to them. I didn’t realize this until I got home to look at my paperwork. Evil.

We were supposed to get our glasses back in two weeks over a week ago. They said that they lost the frames. They can't even tell us if they have found the frames. A rush was put on the order to get them back, but they can't give an ETA. Also, they said it could be a month before we get them. That is NOT a rush! Very poor quality control and very poor service. Extremely disappointed in Davis Vision. My daughter is having difficulty seeing in school without her prescription glasses. She needs them. Davis Vision should be ashamed.

My eye doctor has had to send my lenses back twice. The first time they did make the correct lenses, and the next time they did fulfill all the add-ons that were requested. I have had broken glasses for a month.

Beware: if you combine you eye exam with a diabetic eye exam Davis Vision will not pay for any eye exam, you need to have the exams at different times

Only 1 contracted provider available in my area, and it's in a Wal-Mart. Went to the Wal-mart provider and they gave me a prescription. Ordered glasses with the doctor's prescription and when I got my lenses I could not see, started getting headaches. So I visited an out-of-network provider we found out that the prescription was WAY too strong. Returned to the in-network doctor and they instantly matched my second opinion and issued a new prescription. So far Davis has been unhelpful in resolving their provider's inaccurate prescription and helping me get lenses that allow me to drive.

Submitted the proper form and receipt for eye exam it was refused the first time due to no doctor signature resubmitted the form again with doctors signature was refused again due to no receipt and they said the wife was not covered after clearing up the coverage issue they requested we send in the forms again which they said they have both but could not combinde them we would need to that I guess they really need the 55.00 dollars

Davis vision has horrible customer service for claims. I have been waiting for my $30 reimbursement check since July. They keep saying the check was mailed to me but I have yet to receive it.

What a joke this place. I will have close to 2 months out glasses since I order my wife’s prescription. She had to drop from college because she can not see. Also she was unable to get her drivers license and therefore s better job position. I will SAY DO NOT USE this Company. I spent lots of hours on the phone, people hanging up my calls and overall just getting excuses to not reinstate my benefits and now it is going to be up to 30 days to tell. E they can do anything about it. Also if you are in Maryland DO NOT Use the Maryland Eye Institute.
