I hired Two men and a Truck from San Antonio, Reindeer Trail location on Feb. 20, 2020. My request was to move my furniture from a storage unit in Floresville, TX to our home in Bandera, Tx. Cory and Damien were the two man team. I could not have been more pleased with the efficiency and speed at which they worked. I had specific items I was after them to move. Mostly the furniture and kitchen items. And my box of shoes that were not supposed to go to storage. Needless to say, they had to do some digging and sorting in 2 storage units. I was amazed. This past August, we contracted with the Shakopee, MN office of Two Men and a Truck to do our short distance move. Our problems began when only two people arrived despite the fact that we were promised 3 people due to the fact that we had some very heavy furniture. The movers that were sent were very friendly but incredibly careless. As many movers do, they loaded some of our items in large cardboard boxes on a dolly to get them to the truck. I used this company in Greenville,SC. I had the move today and had my sister stand in for me as I was in another state. They did a great job moving everything I had to a storage unit down there and the price they told me it was going to be end up being cheaper then what they told me. I would use this company again and am so happy with them. If anyone needs a trucking company (The one located in Greenville, SC I would definitely recommend them.
They gave a reasonable quote and did a 2 bedroom home move within the city.
Excellent service no piece of furniture was not even dented. Very polite workers.
We are now moving interstate and will consider them without hesitation.
The final invoice was even lower than the estimate and they explained that we had helped them by preparing many boxes therefore there was packaging only of the furniture.
Be careful when using them. I was given an estimate of $475. Immediately upon showing up the movers said "whoever completed your estimate had no idea what they were doing." But of course at that point I was stuck, as I had to move that day. My total ended up being $698.93 a massive difference of $223. I would shy away from using them in Memphis. I understand an estimate is just that, a quote or estimate. But I turned down other offers far cheaper than $698. Upon filing a claim I was called Monday 8/12/19 and told "I will call you back tomorrow." It is now Friday 8/16/19 and I have still heard nothing. Completely unprofessional. They offered my 92-year old mother a 10% Senior Discount, then reneged on the deal, and they altered the time charge after the fact! Would have been rated higher but for the practices and attitude of management. Hugely disappointed.
Farmington Hills Michigan-- Never use this company! We purchased the insurance offered within the contract which in turn did not cover any damage! Quote came in at one price- actual cost was double. When arriving to destination- opened truck and all items had shifted significantly to one side causing damage. 50" flat screen suffered internal damage from being hit into a door handle- NOT covered due to being "internal". Huge ruts in lawn due to inexperienced driver- NOT covered Tree damage due to inexperienced driver- NOT covered Crew took several items off of truck at storage unit- left for my husband to retrieve later. Manager made it very clear that they would NOT be reimbursing... Read More
The estimate we got recently from this company was so inflated we had to walk away. We have moved plenty of times yet we have NEVER heard of either of the crazy things he upcharged us for. Nor did any of the other moving companies we got estimates from. Sure enough the other estimates we got were all in an acceptable range, and $400 less than the $712.00 quote from Two Men and a Truck. This thug actually upcharged us for "living too far away from the elevator" yes he did!! And that was NOT the only creative upcharge he attempted to get us to pay for. This company doesn't even rate ANY star! Had them pack and move to new house. Wardrobe box were dumped in, forget the hanger, it is in that BOTTOM of the box including a large air fan! Most boxes were marked "Micellaneous"! Ok so where does that go??!! Items in boxes from different rooms! The actually left furniture and a lot of other items after the move. They had to come back and move it, of course not in boxes! Owner of this franchise was vacationing in Las Vegas, of course with clients' money. They truly are a sham!
I cannot, in good conscience, recommend TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Earlier this year, we contracted with two men and a truck to move our goods from the house we were selling into a storage unit. I signed an insurance statement saying that their limit on liability would be $.60 per pound. There were two other options, including one with no deductible, and one with a $1000 deductible. The cost of the insurance was half again the cost of the move. I chose two men because I had spoken to the franchise owner and felt comfortable with him moving the piano. I cancelled a piano mover I had lined up because it was going to cost $400 to move just the piano into storage and another $400 when we would... Read More
