Moving Nation provides local and long-distance moving services for residential or corporate customers. It also provides two types of storage solutions: a short-term option of up to 30 days while you complete your move and settle in, or a long-term plan to store your valuables in a secure and customizable vault. Additionally, Moving Nation offers several packing alternatives depending on your particular needs: full-service packing, fragile-only packing, or self-packing assistance. This guarantees that a customer's preferred method is used to handle their valuables before the move. Although prices are not advertised on Moving Nation's website, it gives customer's the option to request an online quote or to call one of their customer service representatives to receive assistance.

Reputation - 4.5 / 5

Although Moving Nation was established rather recently, it currently enjoys a favorable reputation in terms of customer satisfaction. Online reviews are not numerous but are overwhelmingly positive in both the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and Trust Pilot websites, and the company also received sparkling grades from each institution. Coupled with the glowing reviews emphasizing the company's professionalism and efficiency, they have no outstanding or filed complaints, either. Their website does not offer much in the way of online resources or tools, but they do offer basic tips to prepare for a move and packing valuables. Moving Nation does provide customers with a dedicated customer service hotline during regular business hours, and free online quotes.

This company is a joke!! Eric who we dealt with is all nice and all on your side. But once they get your $$ for the deposit, you get a different Eric who is RUDE!! He promises you the world and not to worry. They promise the best, and that you will be loaded and unloaded. This was a joke. So we get to Lisa who is straight up rude who has no customer service skills if her life depended on it. She hangs up on you and is extremely rude!! I'm sure what I am saying is something you probably have heard before. You are given one price and it goes up everytime you talk to them. Please do not use this company you are better off hiring college students are doing it yourself. They show up late for... Read More

Moving Nation is a moving nightmare. They were supposed to pack us up and move us from Maryland to Georgia on July 15, with delivery on the 17th, but they changed the date to the 16th, with delivery still on the 17th, which meant one of us had to dash down to Georgia to meet the truck while the other stayed behind for the packing and loading. The packers were supposed to show up between 8 and 11 AM, and we were told it would probably be closer to 8, but they didn't appear until 1 PM, and the van didn't arrive until about 5 PM, so things that got packed were laying around waiting to be loaded up. A few of the packers did okay, but some of them were just throwing things in boxes with no... Read More

Thank you for helping us with our move. You went out of your way to make sure that we were comfortable with the way you did things and we really appreciate it. It was a pleasure dealing with a company that values its customers so highly.

I wish I could give them 0 stars, I still do not have my stuff, I was NEVER told by the rep that our stuff would be placed in a warehouse for storage FOR A WHOLE WEEK to just sit and wait for someone to take it. We are sitting in an empty house for 2 weeks because they had out move sitting at a warehouse still in Washington for exactly one week after they toon it. This is by far the worst choice I have ever made to go with this company. Hopefully my stuff is intact when it finally does arrive and nothing is missing. They will HOUND you nonstop until you book with them then you will not hear anything, not get any emails or calls back, and when I finally was able to talk to someone is... Read More

This information is out of date and somewhat misleading. This company has 4 complaints from 2019, registered with the BBB (soon to be 5). While it's true that they do have an A+ rating with the BBB, they are not accredited by the BBB. Further, the complaints and negative reviews that can be found consistently report charges well beyond the initial estimates, careless treatment of goods and homes, late deliveries, and attempts to extort additional money upon delivery. I've witnessed the incompetence of their load team personally, including unnecessary use of packing material (at a grossly inflated charge), loose packing in the truck, to take up more room and inflate the cost, and now... We were verbally promised by Joe Campbell that our move from Northern VA to SC would take place with pick up on May 27 or 28 and with delivery on May 31 or June 1. Before I confirmed that we were ready for the pick up date of May 27, i asked Natasha, the rep who contacted us, if she could tell us which delivery date we would have between May 31 or June 1. She said she was not sure which of the 2 dates it would be, but we should ask the men when they were done loading, since the'd then have a better idea of how long it took to load our stuff. Nick was the lead of this 3 man team, and I did ask him whether we would have delivery on May 31 OR June 1, and he said that he had nothing to do... Read More

Do not get involved with Moving Nation!!!! They packed our things very carefully and spread them out so they took up more square footage, then demanded $5000 extra. We asked our options and the packer said he would unload it all on the front lawn if we didn’t pay. Then they took our things to the warehouse and when it came time to bring it to us they smashed it all into a much smaller space. Whatever didn’t fit was left behind! We still haven’t gotten my mothers curio cabinet, our porch rockers, desk chair, and my husbands custom made shelving. It has been two months! Our boxes were crushed, hinges were ripped off of furniture. Every other box had broken items, even with bubble wrap and... Read More

I never like letting someone else do work I can do, but I figured to make my wife happy I would give it a shot. Let me start by saying my wife never compliments a company unless they go above and beyond. I can say I was not 100% sure I made the right decision, but in the end I came out looking like the hero to my wife. The crew was amazing and the folks in the office answered any call to help me with an issue on move day. They spoke to the movers and all was resolved. Thanks for making my wife happy and my life easy.
