We settled on using Moving Nation for the second time both because we were happy with the service that we got the first time and the rates that they charge as compared to other moving companies. The move was back to Iowa (we had moved from there last year for a project) and from a rented apartment back to our own 3-bedroom house. I think we may have even got the same moving team as last time. Anyway, their work was just as fast and easy as the move here. A reliable company and good staff.
I have only written a couple of reviews in my whole life but decided to add Moving Nation to the honor roll because of how much they exceeded my expectations. I believe this was the first time that I have completed such a large move (4 bedroom home) over such a large distance (to RI) and still not had any items damaged or broken. The credit goes entirely to the pros who made up the moving team and did such a fine job. I have already recommended them to my new neighbors and will use them again if I have to move in the future.
The 4.5/5 ratings for this company are BS. One piece of advice comes to mind .. "RUN AWAY and DON'T USE THIS MOVER!". I'm a real customer and had a very bad experience with this company. I negotiated one price up-front with their high-pressure salesman and when the movers came to pick up my storage, the guys jacked up the price another $1500 claiming that the estimated volume was too low. The volume estimate wasn't too low. I felt like this company is run by the Russian mob since all the movers in LA seem to be Russian and they speak their language and you never know what they are talking about. Please do not use this company. Their customer service is almost non-existent, we had many valuables damaged and our furniture arrived almost ten days after its promised delivery date. This was an out of state move from PA to Florida. When they arrived they had two men arrive, each the driver of their 20+ foot, fully loaded truck. They arrived around 6 pm and after a few hours left and said they would come back the next day. When they returned, they said they were not informed it was a two story home and my wife (I was out of town) had to help them carry furniture and boxes up the steps. I have a complaint!!!! Why does it take you so long to pay for broken items. You want your money immediately. I have been waiting for two months. I will notify the BBB and writing a blog and what it ever it takes to get my refund.

My wife settled on Moving Nation because they offered a good rate as compared to the moving company that we usually use. I was a little apprehensive at first but in the end I have to say that she made a good call. The movers stuck to the timetable they gave us, right from their arrival time to the packing and loading and then the delivery and unloading. It made it a lot easier to coordinate things at my new home. I will use them again for my next move and hope they repeat the fantastic job they did this time.
I have been using professional movers for a number of years due to my job requires me to move every year. My company paying for the move and has contract with another vendor, but sinceI was using Moving Nation and find them more reliable and careful with your things whiloe still beung cheaper than most other similar movers. The actual poeple doing the moving may change but the same dedication and expertise is the same.
We first used Moving Nation when they were one of the newest movers around. They had low rates to attrachs new customer. Over the years prices went up a little bit but that came together with better service, faster deliveries and great customer serivece. In this move we were moving our office to California and it ahd to be done professionally because of teh expensive equipment we have. As usual Moving Nation came through and did a perfect job.
We had a very nice experience using Moving Nation to move our daughter into her new 2-bedroom apartment in New Jersey. The quote we were given was one of the most competitive considering the short time they said they would take. We were a bit skeptical at first but decided to try it anyway since the quote was among the lowest of all the companies we asked. Fortunately, they kept their word and delivered as promised on both the time and the cost. We don’t plan on moving ourselves but have recommended Moving Nation to our family and friends.
Worst moving company ever. I think the positive reviews are written by the companies friends and maybe company itself. They are not indicative of the service provided, which is abominable. Used this company in August for a move cross-country. When they arrived they jacked the price by $3,000. Had no choice but to pay, as it was the end of the month and I had given notice to be out by the 31st. Highway robbery. My positions arrived damaged. Boxes and plastic tubes were crushed and split open. Furniture damaged and original art work destroyed. The rating they have is inflated and wrong. People need to know the truth.
