Three gentlemen moved my home from Philadelphia to Tampa Bay. They were polite when they walked in my place and very respectful of their surroundings. When I realized that I had more pack then I though they were quick to help out. While loading boxes in the truck one of the movers discovered my spare clothes which I totally missed. With zero hesitation said, "sir can I pack this for you". I told him to "yes please!!" he grabbed a box from the truck and put everything inside and even labeled it "winter coats". Big Ben's gave us one of the best moving experiences we’ve ever had. The whole staff could not have been more professional. They were extremely cost effective with the rate being based on how much we were moving and our destination (NYC). Having no hourly fees was a refreshing feeling. That didn't make the movers work slower though, they were quick and clearly knew what they were doing. As stressful as moving can be, this was the most easy going move I've ever took part in. With the friendly staff, eager movers, and lots of communication we didn't worry much at all during this move. Huge thank you to Big Ben's moving and storage for making it easy!
The team that was assigned to our move was outstanding. The entire experience from beginning to end was very organized and every we interacted with was very polite to us. The movers, customer service and the managing expeditor of our move all were great to work with. Our move was from NY to Florida was completed in a day and a half. They took really good care of our stuff and kept us updated while the truck was on the way. The following morning after the move had begun we were updated by the driver that everything was still on schedule for the 2-3pm arrival time. There was never a lack of communication here. Last month my family and i had to change homes due to the unfortunate circumstances that we are living in. So we moved west to Los Angeles. A close friend of mine suggested we hire Big Ben's moving and storage because they had a very smooth move. We gave them a call and set it all up, within a week they were packaging and loading all my things. I can tell you it was a very smooth move all my things were as is when they arrived so we were very happy! Thank you
I used to always think of moving as a hassle. After working with Big Ben's my outlook on moving in general is a bit different. The movers I've used locally in the past only added more stress to the move with fees on top of fees tacked on at the end. Big Ben's was a completely new experience. I knew exactly how much I was going to pay from the start. Not a rounded number or estimate but the actual final total. I also was stuck at my house all day with some huge time window. They said they would arrive between 10 and 11 am. They got to my place at 10:15. This move was without a doubt the most straight forward stress free move I've ever done. Thank you!! Awesome
After looking into several different moving companies we went with these guys. First because they responded quickly with no hassle or weird negotiations, and second because they were available to handle the move in 5 days from when I called. My plan was definitely a bit last minute, thank god it all worked out. The movers were super nice and got everything loaded on the truck so much faster than I was anticipating. They were both fast and affordable. The final total ended being just a bit less than the initial quote when final inventory was made. Not a fan of moving at all but working with this company made everything feel less stressful. I would definitely use them again.
Big Ben's gave us a three man moving team that knocked out a difficult move with no problems. We've previously never moved out of state so things felt much more complex with the distance and pricing. When the movers arrived to our final destination in Boston they went above and beyond to help us get settled. Different than your standard local guys they brought in furniture, unwrapped it and helped us arrange it. Moving furniture around just how you want it can be time consuming and in my opinion annoying. Having 3 guys to help us set things up was the perfect ending to the move. Our money definitely went further here than with any other mover.
We had a lot to pack and even more to move. The clock was ticking on our lease and we weren't getting very far. So we had Big Ben's moving & storage help with packing and the move. After speaking to a handful of other movers we just felt most confident they were best suited for the job. I use to decide on movers by price but after having some rocky experiences with cheap movers I now look at quality first and price second. Customer service here was great. They followed up with me on the day of the move to confirm the movers were on time and going to show up on the early side of the time window they gave. Could not have asked for a better outcome. They were in constant communication with us throughout are transition to Chicago. Their rates are very reasonable, especially for the great service we got in return. Movers were all very courteous, friendly, and did a great job of handling our belongings with care. No hidden fees with this company. What you are quoted is what you pay. Rates were all inclusive so there was never any hourly to factor.
Big Ben's moving and storage were great. I thought that the whole process of moving may put us at risk with covid19, but when we got our quote we were assured of our safety with all their cautionary measures. I stayed away while they stored and loaded everything into new boxes, having new ones meant they couldn't be contaminated. No issues at all and I was pleased to have all my things delivered within a week.
