I prepaid for the 2018 season of Trugreen's service in preparation for selling my house. I told the salesperson I only wanted a single season as I was selling the house. I moved in August. They billed me for 3 unwanted treatments in 2019. Then they phoned me to hassle me for payment for the services I never asked for! NOT HAPPY AT ALL with this company. To make matters worse, the lawn looks worse now than when I hired them.
*Kennesaw GA* My spouse and I had opted to prepay for a season of Trugreen's service when we first moved into our home. After the first season we were unsure if we wanted to continue with their service. We randomly got a bill in the mail from them after our "prepaid season" had been complete. They wanted us to pay 50 something dollars for a service they had done. Trugreen called and I informed them that I would pay the 50 dollar balance, but needed to talk to my spouse before we continued on. After the phone call they came out 3 MORE times to do a mosquito treatment. They now want us to pay 200 plus dollars because they continued a treatment that I DIDN'T ASK FOR!!!!! Their management... I have been a TruGreen customer for years. The service started out tremendous and after a few years wasn't quite as good as it had been but what I learned was that the company was going through a flux and was essentially rebuilding. I stood by the company and over the last year, the service has really ratcheted back up. There is a robo-call that tells you what day they are coming and sure enough, that is the day they come barring a huge storm. This really helps a customer get lawn cut or ready for the treatment. I HAD MY LAWN AEREATION DONE BY YOUR TRUGREEN PROFESSIONAL ON MAY 12TH. THIS WAS ONE BY A TRUE PROFESSIONAL. HE EXPLAINED WHAT THE PROCEDURE WAS AND WHAT I COULD EXPECT FROM THIS SERVICE. THE WAS A TRUE PROFESSIONAL.
I was not at all happy with the service from TruGreen. They made big promises but after multiple visits, still could not get rid of the dandelions and other weeds in my lawn. It seems to me that weeks like dandelions should not be so hard to get rid of, right? I finally gave up on them and cancelled my service. I got a call from someone in their marketing division last winter asking me to give them another chance to make things right this spring (2019). After multiple calls from them I finally agreed. I was billed and when I got the same unsatisfactory results as last year I called to cancel my service. This time the lady who spoke with me said that they have already billed my credit card... I looked online to see the prices of their lawn care packages because I got something in the mail. I then recieved a call from them saying he got my info by getting it from my ip address and noticed I left their website without purchasing anything. I told him I was just getting prices. After he hung up he then sent my info to their sales department and I have been called by them now 7 times within a 5hr period. I have been put on the "no call list" everytime and last time I spoke with the sales manager and she assured me this will not happen again, but she lied. If you are planning on getting lawn service avoid TruGreen or they will call you non-stop until you purchase one if their packages
This review seems to be a real joke. TruGreen has serviced my lawn for the past year and I have never had so many weeds growing on the lawn in any of the prior years. I have called about this problem several times, and some "treatments" were applied but the weeds kept growing just fine.
On top of that when I called TruGreen and told them today that I want to cancel the service, a very rude person informed me that my dissatisfaction is not grounds enough for service cancellation and they are going to continue the service.
This could be an issue only with the local TruGreen branch, but because of this I will never do business with TruGreen again.
We have had your service for years the last couple were not so good,we are hoping you will work to improve this
