Overall Rating: 4.1 / 5 (Excellent)

WalletHub is one of the better free credit reporting applications. The main differentiator here is the daily credit score and credit report. As far as we know, no other free credit reporting service does this. The company also does a really good job showing you in a clear, personalized, and easy to understand way exactly what factors are contributing to your credit score. However, when compared to applications like Mint which get into the minute transaction details of all your accounts, WalletHub is more general and big picture. Be that as it may, the company has an excellent reputation among users and its real time email, text, and mobile app alerts are particularly handy.

Credit Score & Reports

Report Details and Frequency - 4 / 5

WalletHub is the only online credit reporting service we are aware of that allows you to monitor changes to your score and report on a daily basis for free. Most services, especially free services, will update you monthly or quarterly. This is of particular interest to customers wanting to break down how their activities affect their credit in the most minute detail. WalletHub provides you with your TransUnion report, so if you want to monitor your Experian and Equifax score you'll have to look elsewhere. Additionally, as with so many online credit services, WalletHub uses the VantageScore model, not the official FICO score. Although many lenders are increasingly taking the VantageScore into account, the vast majority still use the official FICO score. This is why patrons of websites like WalletHub and Credit Karma are often surprised to discover the score they got from said website does not match the score used by whichever financial institution they are dealing with to get a loan, buy a car, etc.

Monitoring & Tools

Credit Bureau & Credit Scores - 4.5 / 5

WalletHub is a great, free tool for monitoring your credit report and credit score, and learning about personal finance overall. The company's credit analysis feature is a great way for customers to learn exactly what they need to do to improve their credit score. However, you will not have the ability to see what's happening within individual accounts. WalletHub also does not offer anything in the way of identity theft protection or dispute resolution, but this is common for free services. Finally, WalletHub's alerts are excellent for a free service, as they will notify you immediately of any change to your report via whichever method you select.

WalletHub Plans & Pricing

Plans and Pricing - 4 / 5

WalletHub is a totally free service. You will not need to provide any payment information and the credit inquiries will not affect your score. However, as with similar sites, by signing up you agree that information on your creditworthiness will be passed on to WalletHub's advertisers. You will be offered financial products customized to your credit score and report. If you sign up for one of these products, WalletHub then gets paid.

WalletHub Reputation & Support

Monitoring and Extra Features - 4 / 5

Although WalletHub has an A grade with the BBB, this is only based on one review. The company, however, has a generally favorable reputation across other review sites and a solid Trustpilot score. Since WalletHub is a genuinely free service (they ask for no credit card or for you to purchase anything) you can never be charged monthly or yearly subscription fees without your consent, a common scam with "free credit report" websites. Customers who praise WalletHub cite the free daily score, free online tools, and handy alerts through text, email, and mobile app.

My wife and I were trying to purchase a house after we gave birth to two children. But due to our bad credit score it was not approved. Her score was 545 and mine was 544. They use the higher of the two scores, so we decided to work on her score, as she has less total debt in just her name than I do. Thanks to Lamar who referred me to PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST, they helped her remove debt from her credit report, they now appear as paid, the most amazing part is that her credit score has been raised from 545 to 811 across the three credit bureaus. I assure you they are the best in terms of credit repair.

Have you guys ever checked out PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST? I’m knocking on my 30s doors (29y/o). I was obviously careless and irresponsible in my 20s but wanted to turn my ship around before my 30s. I had a credit score of 580 (Equifax), 527 (Experian), 503 (TransUnion). $2.2K in credit debt with a limit of $2.9, so high utilization, 3 cards in collections. Well, I also had about 14 closed accounts 4 of which have been paid off but still were still on my report. I do have an auto loan and student loan. Luckily for me a friend introduced me to PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST, he helped me raise my score by 231 points and marked all debts as paid on time, he also deleted all collections from my... I wanted to purchase a car months ago, but I wasn’t approved for a loan, I needed a score of at least 700 to be approved for the loan, but my score was at 529. I had many hard inquiries, collections, late payments, unpaid debts and eviction. I contacted this life saver called PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST; they helped me wipe all the negative items and raised my score to 811 across the three credit bureaus. It’s been 2 weeks now and nothing is coming back.

I intend to propose to my long-time girlfriend later this summer, so that we can move to Las Vegas together by the end of December. After that, we needed urgent help fixing our credit. I had a car loan, student loans and credit card debt. I also had another debt (mortgage). My girlfriend had 93k in consumer debt, with 75k of it on credit cards and the rest on her Acura. She does well in her career (makes $120k/yr. gross) which she has a spending issue. Well, I sought help online and I read quite a lot of good reviews about a credit guy called PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST. I contacted him for credit help. We got started and after a couple of days, PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST cleared the debts... Read More

I had a couple of things happen in 2021 that caused me to get extremely behind on several bills. I had about 3 credit cards end up in charge-off status. Only one of those cards was ever sent to collections and I have since paid this before the collection ever hit my credit. 2 of the cards were through Capital One. 1 of the 2 were sent to collections. The unpaid one has been referred to an attorney and kept in house, although I received documentation that the attorney was dropping the lawsuit against me. My credit was hovering at around a 620 Equifax FICO and a 618 Experian FICO. I had so many lates from these three accounts. This forum gave me some hope regarding PINNACLE CREDIT... Read More

Hi everyone, I want to sincerely appreciate PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST for the dedication and time they put in working my credit. I had 4 charges off accounts (3 cc and 1 installment loan). I do have 2 cards with longevity and bad payment history though lower limits ($1200 and $850) and a car loan with 7 late time payments reflecting. During my financial struggles NFC closed the 2-credit card accounts I had with them. I also had a chapter 7 BK in 2020. I did have high utilization and few late payments (over more than 10 days late). The account closure dropped my scores because the balances took my utilization to 990%. I continued making payments on time until a friend read about PINNACLE... Read More

Today I called PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST and asked to have my BK7 removed from my CR, and they did. It was scheduled to fall off next year. So that’s that. A horrible chapter in my life but I’ve come out on top. So much wiser, better prepared for the future, and peace of mind where finances are concerned. Thanks to this forum and the good folks that spend their time here to share their experience and share the knowledge they got from PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST. Thank you PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST for all your assistance, guidance and cheerleading. Especially in the early days of my rebuild. With my scores now in the 800’s I’m tempted to app just to know I’d likely be approved, but... Read More

My name is Patricia Nelson. I was in the process of rebuilding credit from divorce and unfortunately had my car totaled otherwise I would’ve kept my current auto loan and car. Previously I had Experian FICO around 674, with a similar auto score. My TransUnion was absolutely trashed, and barely 600 and my Equifax was in the 640s. I had no collection accounts, no charge offs, and two accounts paid less than agreed. I tried getting a loan on PNC but got denied. I needed help and found PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST here, they're a good and kind credit repair team. They pulled my score to 801 Experian, 805 TransUnion, 809 Equifax and they added good trade lines to my credit report. I got... Read More

Hey all!! You don’t know how relieved I am right now. I’ve been literally living on this forum for about 2 years learning everything I can to rebuild my credit. I was really in an embarrassing financial situation due to my poor credit score. When I started my scores were in the 560 range, everything was wrecked. Few days after I came across PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST on this forum and contacted them, they increased my score and improved my credit profile by removing the evictions, charge off, late payment and DMV, today my Fico 8 are TU: 831, EX: 827, EQ: 769. Honestly, I don’t enjoy writing much, but I must let the world know about this genius that helped me. I sincerely acknowledge their... Read More

Hello everyone, all thanks to PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST long story short, a divorce during covid really hampered my credit. I went from the mid-700s to the 500s. I’ve been trying to work hard to get it built back up and have recently got as high as 660 on some bureaus. I recently sent dispute letters for a few items and two of them caused my score for Equifax to drop significantly. It was so disheartening. My first dispute was with Ally Financial. Last year, I had a lot of building up in one month, so I requested a payment extension for them for that month. They agreed to give me one so long as I would pay an extension fee by a due date that they’ve given. I absolutely did that right away... Read More
