Travelers is an insurance company with roots that go back to 1853 in Minnesota. Currently based in New York City, and just one facet of a much larger conglomerate, Travelers merged with Citicorp in 1998. In addition to auto insurance, Travelers’ insurance arm is dedicated to corporate citizenship and environmentally-friendly practices.

Very poorly run company. Travelers Auto Insurance employees exercise very poor judgment and are very shortsighted. Received notice of non renewal for an auto accident totaling less than $4000 in damages. These days that is a minor fender bender. It is ridiculous. I have been driving for over thirty five years with no problems. Nobody should consider ever using Travelers unless they want to be treated poorly and inconvenienced.
