I was enticed to go with Nationwide car insurance because they have competitive rates and has a smartride program. They gave me a 10% discount right off the bat just for participating in the program. I was hoping that with good driving habits for the duration of the program which is about 6 months will lower my premium on my next renewal. I ended the smartride program with 35% discount because of my good driving record while participating in the program. You would think that I would have a lower premium right?
