We are first time Tripasure customers for a scheduled Mississippi River cruise on Sept 29,2019. After reading customer reviews after filing for cancellation service, your company response time for reimbursement is a concern. We do not anticipate needing to use TripAsure for any reason before, during, or after our scheduled
tour, but based on your performance for affected customers and the delay in settling their claims, I am not impressed with TripAsure as a travel insurer. Would be interested in your response to these stories comments.
We had to cancel our trip to Europe in July due to a medical situation. We completed many forms including sending medical documentation to support the cancellation. We were continually asked for additional information, including multiple requests for the same information. At one point we were denied coverage due to lack of proof of seeing a doctor for the problem even though we actually provided documentation from two doctors that we saw to address the problem. This went on for several months and we pointed out to TripAssure that we had provided the information they requested multiple times. Eventually, we complained to the Department of Insurance and the Better Business Bureau.... Read More
I was injured and had to leave a river cruise on June 23 , 2018. Claim was filed in July.
As of today, October 4, 2018, my claim has still not been paid.
