Safeco insurance offers standard coverage as well as a good selection of additional plans unique to their company.

They are among the few insurers currently offering pet insurance and custom equipment coverage for recreational vehicle drivers. Although their list of discounts is not the most wide-ranging, they also offer significant savings through a diminishing deductible option and discounts for having anti-theft devices.

Overall, Safeco is an excellent choice for RV drivers looking for customizable coverage and decent customer support services, backed by a reputable company with extensive industry experience.

This last option is quite a rare find in the recreational vehicle insurance market and Safeco seems to be among the few insurers currently offering it. Safeco has on three occasions not sent a monthly bill for my RV insurance. This resulted in late payments and nastygrams from the Commonwealth about cancelling my policy. Customer service is difficult to reach and when they are informed of the problem of no monthly bill, they say "We'll take care of it." The problem returns two months later. Accordingly, I'm cancelling Safeco and moving to Progressive. It's quite bit cheaper for the same coverage.
