It should be noted, though, that all pet insurance premiums tend to rise as pets age and the cost of veterinary care increases. A cost advantage at the outset of the policy may be erased--or even reversed--as premiums rise. Since Prudent Pet is a newer pet insurance company, there is no historical data on how rapidly its rates will rise in comparison to its competitors.

Prudent Pet "manually rejected" my DENTAL claim because "The policy does not provide coverage for spaying or neutering." My cat was neutered before I even got him and again, this is a DENTAL CLAIM. It seems like my claim was either auto rejected, or someone was NOT reading. Big yikes either way. We'll see how the dispute goes, but I'm already disgruntled for a customer of multiple years.

It was super easy to get a quote online and I purchased with an agent who was very helpful. I recently filed a claim for our goldendoodle and got paid back in a few days, great service.

Purchased from this website a few weeks ago. Went with 80 reimbrement and a preventive care one too. Very happy with the customer service - I forgot her name but young lady (S?) was so sweet and really cared about me getting the right one. Website is easy to use and happy they have a blog love reading their tips and stuff they have on there. That's where I actually saw them in the first place. I found article about seizures because my late dog had them. Happy I chose to get insurance for my new little one. She is full of energy and happy I can get some help with those bills. Should have had it wiht my other dog who passed. Thanks for your help.

I haven't bought the pawlicy at Prudet Pet yet, but their website has detailed answers to my questions about pet insurance. I also had a brief conversation with a sales rep but she was very helpful as well. I will consider buying a policy from Prudent Pet.

U need to post ur payment of claims timeframe. Especially as a new company. It is imperative that u do. Otherwise it appears that u are hiding information pet owners need to make decisions about which insurance company to choose. U need transparency when it comes to paying claims. At this time for my new puppy u r a no! Hope u add that info in the future. Rating a 2 due to this lack of info.

The website made it very easy to put together quotes for my dogs. The discount for multiple pets was also very helpful! The fact that I'm able to add on preventative care coverage makes the insurance worth it!

I recently purchased a policy and have been very impressed so far. The agent was very knowledgeable and helped me determine which coverage was the best fit for my dog Spike. The coverage seems straight forward and I have already received my reimbursement for his first checkup.
