Latest PetPartners Reviews
I have had this pet insurance for over 2 years, when I submitted my claims, which I submitted three times, only to be told that I only have accident insurance. Buyer beware!!!
I was offered a 30 day trial with the purchase of my puppy through AKC Reunite. I received this e-mail from PetPartners, but when trying to activate it, there was nothing but issues. I gave them all the information they requested to redeem the offer, but never a reply to resolve this, only spam mail to purchase. If it's this difficult to redeem a 30 day free trial offer that they sent, I can only imagine how difficult they would make redeeming any compensation from their insurance company. Personally, I would stay clear of this one, being that the reviews are not reflecting satisfied customers. At least I didn't spend anything to find out how awful they are.
I had been paying for pet insurance since 2012 on my German Sheperd, When it finally came time to file a claim I was informed by PetPartners I only had accident insurance, which in my declaration page I have was Companion Select and ExamCare, Well my dog got sick and I had to take her into critical care and all the exams and tests that said they were covered in declarations page are not. Supposedly my companion care turned into accident care but either way they said they won't cover any expenses. And my dog died. Watcjh out for this company, they don't explain too much, and after $8000+ and 10 years of payments my dog was not covered according to them. What a scam. Buyer beware!!!
My wife and I just canceled our plan. After submitting covered items to Pet Partners they conveniently decided that they would not cover over a "waiting period" that originally said 3 days and they updated to 14 only after we submitted our paper work. Don't waste your money
Poor customer experience, submitted claim on 2/14/2017 and claim was finalized on 05/09/2017. Every time I would ask for clarification on what the policy covered, I would not get a straight answer, disappointing that it had to take this long to be finalized and still have not been received benefits yet. I talked with Amy (customer service rep) and she could not tell me where or when I would receive, just that the EOB would be mailed out with the check. I talked to supervisor Adam on 5/2/2017 and he told me that I would receive a email of the EOB the next day and that did not happen; lack of communication. I would recommend looking at all your options before going with this company.
Very tricky and slow on reviewing the claims.
Wait period for accidents injuries is 3 THREE DAYS!
Impossible to get a customer care supervisor on a line. Seems like a very small company with a big ambitions.
Better go with other insurance companies
