We've had no issues with Embrace Pet Insurance Co. what so ever. In fact Embrace goes out of their way to explain what your pet is covered for and just as importantly, what is not covered. No surprises. Having talked with these folks on more than one occasion, I'm convinced they're also animal lovers . . . . . .
I've been using Embrace for my dog Max. Max was diagnosed with cancer about a year ago and Embrace has just been incredible. No problems what so ever. All claims have been addressed and reimbursements have been paid. I don't know what I would have done if not for this insurance company. Max and I thank you very, very, very much.
I have had to make two claims with Embrace and on both occasions they were professional, fast to respond to questions, communicated clearly, and the checks came within 3 days. I've never had a better insurance experience, and I will only use Embrace for my fur babies.
My dog Max required a diagnostic exam for a new heart murmur. The customer service group at Embrace were so helpful, explaining which insurance forms were needed and how to fill them out. I completed the forms on-line and had a response the next day. They were able to issue payment for the claim and the check came within the week. The best news is Max will be just fine.
Our GSP needed an emergency splenectomy after a tumor ruptured the organ and he was bleeding internally. Embrace covered 80% quickly.
Once again Embrace comes through with quick reliable service claims handled in a quick efficient manner have always been satisfied with there service going on 8 years with one dog and 3 on our other dog
Every time I have called for a question or issue, the people I have spoke to have been polite, friendly and very helpful.
This is the third pet healthcare insurer I have used, and it is by far, the best. Claim submission is easy and claims are processed quickly. So far, I have nothing but positive things to say about Embrace and would definitely recommend them as a pet insurance company.
Recently our dog found and ate a bunch of chicken wing bones.he was fi e for about 60 hours then began to vomit.we had to do an over night visit at animal hospital. The bill was extensive. I was so thankful we had decided to get animal ins when we had rescued our 2 mos earlier. Embrace was so easy to deal with and far easier than human ins!!! They dealt with animal hospital and we were reimbursed $ within 7-10 days!!amazing!!the website is so easy to navigate and their emails helpful.i am rec Embrace to all my family and friends w pets.

I have been with embrace for 8 years now. I have always been so impressed with the customer service and quick reimbursement of claims. Sadly, right before Christmas ,our sweet lab suddenly became partially paralyzed. After several vet visits, a specialist visit, and an emergency cat scan, We learned that she had a bone cancer that had invaded her spinal cord. We had to let her go. Embrace not only answered all of my questions, They paid my 2500 dollar claim in just a couple of weeks. They made a difficult time easier. I was able to give my Holly the care that she deserved, without having to worry about cost.
I have had Embrace for my dog Riley for the last 9 years. I think I may have only had 1 or 2 claims during those 9 years. This year she got very very ill. We spent thousands and thousands of dollars getting her healthy again and Embrace was great to work with. they accepted all the paperwork from our vet and we had a reimbursement check in hand before her stitches have healed. I feel so fortunate knowing we have Embrace for our pets.
I have had my kitty insured by Embrace for several years. Also have a Wellness Plan for her. Both the Accident/Illness insurance and the Wellness Plan pay for themselves in terms of money saved on vet bills. Embrace has developed the most streamlined claims procedure. The customer simply accesses a one-page claim form that is already marked with the pet's name. Then she takes it to the vet, who adds doctor's notes and an invoice. Some vets will fax the completed form to Embrace. Others ask the customer to do it. Once Embrace receives the completed form, the claim is reviewed and paid in about one week. It is unfortunate that a pet insurance company has chosen to deceive pet owners. Read the fine print. They take your premiums (not clarify what is not covered, auto-renew) but do not pay the claims.
Next time a customer is in duress, explains to you numerous times that they don’t have any money to pay out of pocket and can’t afford a large hospital bill don’t tell the customer “you’re covered” tell them how much is covered; even if this means repeating the percentage covered multiple times. Take into consideration that the customer is likely about to lose a member of their family and they don’t need “you’re covered” only to receive a $3,000 bill (copay). Have the intestinal fortitude to tell them in a compassionate way that no matter what, you will pay “X” percentage of this bill. I've never been more infatuated with an insurance company. My kitten got sick & Embrace reimbursed us within DAYS of me submitting the claim. The first claim always takes the longest, but after that everything was so quick. When your baby is sick, the bills pile up so responsiveness is so important. They were not sneaky or rude. They helped me every step of the way & there is no scary fine print. I would absolutely suggest Embrace to anyone.
Embrace has been wonderful in covering our dog Walter's claims in a timely manner. Initially there was some confusion with records from one of our other dogs and with one phone call it was corrected! Walter developed pneumonia and was hospitalized for 3 days. Recheck a week later revealed a mass in his chest. We then had a CT scan completed that revealed masses in both lungs. This has been an emotional time and knowing we could do what needed to be done for Walter without worrying about how we would pay for it has been a huge load off our mind and I would never be without insurance. All of my pets will be Embraced for life! Thank you Embrace.
Embrace Pet Insurance pays claims very quickly. I was able to have the testing done to diagnosis my pet’s illness knowing I would be reimbursed by Embrace Pet Insurance. Customer service is top notch.
Embrace's 30-day cancellation policy is an absolute sham. I requested a medical history review less than 2 weeks after I signed - up. I didn't get it for almost 3 months later and surprise, surprise! Absolutely every symptom of his is listed as a preexisting condition. So therefore, the policy is useless to me and now I have paid 3 months into it (estimated $180). I was told by Embrace they would not refund it as their terms are that 'We need the complete Medical History'. Yet as of Oct. 11, I was told it would take 7-8 business days. Goldie, (my Silkie/whippet mix) had a great 2016; no claims at all. However the year before she managed to accumulate nearly $6000.00 in medical bills between self-inflicted poisoning (sago plant ingestion) and pancreas issues, again eating things she shouldn't. After the deductible was paid I only had $1600.00 total out of pocket expense. I'm on a serious budget and $6000.00 for a doggie Dr. bill... I may not have been able to save her. Because of Embrace I was able to save her from certain death! THANK YOU SO MUCH EMBRACE!
The Embrace representatives we spoke with on the phone were extremely helpful and courteous. They also provided excellent information regarding processing the claim. Our claim was processed in a timely manner without any discrepancies. The reimbursement check was exactly the amount we expected to receive when we filed the claim. Thank you.
This company is a sham. They take your money and then find every excuse not to pay your claims. I was told they would get back to me in 5 days. It took them 15 days. I appealed the denial and I was told I would hear in 15 days, it's been 30 days and I'm still waiting. Even after calling them again they never called back.
Embrance insurance is an excellent company. Signing up was very easy. There weren't any hidden or unexpected fees with the policy. All claims are handled efficiently and in a timely manner. Customer service people are friendly and informative. I would recommend Embrace to any pet owner.
