They were very helpful with information and kept me updated throughout the whole process. Every penny spent was well worth it and it's made this big move a little less scary. Definitely use this company when planning a big move, it won't be regretted.
This is the 3rd time I worked with a moving company and IVL was by far the best and easiest to work with. They did a great job packing and had no overcharges so I can't complain.
I was completely dissatisfied with the entire experience. From the lack of communication with their sales rep Karen Gonzalez to the additional charges they never informed of (the length of the hallway from the freight elevators to my apartment was why I incurred an additional $200 charge) to the missing items (my nightstand) that I had to chase them down to retrieve and deliver to my house. They confirmed the date and time 48 hours before and changed this less than 24 hours before the initial move. They were consistently 2+ hours later than the time they agreed to arrive. I was not happy with my experience with International Van Lines. I was given incorrect information about the timeline/shipping procedures by International Van Lines for the company they ended up contracting the move too. I was told it would be 8-11 days from pick-up until delivery, when in reality I found out when the movers were already there packing my stuff while signing a contract that it would be 5 to 21 business days from the first day that I wished it to be delivered. This caused significant problems with my timeline. They were quick and careful and just super nice guys. I will definitely hire them again when it's time to move everything back in.
I highly recommend International Van Lines! We had office furniture within our building that needed to be moved. They were very professional and efficient. The guys that completed the moves were very friendly and courteous. I will definitely be hiring this company again for any future moves.
International Scam Lines would be a much more appropriate name for this “company.” Their copout is they subcontracted a company to do the move, despite the fact that when I initiated the inquiry I specifically asked if they subcontracted, in an effort to avoid this insane circus I have been dealing with for over a month. It is now day 27 that the company has had possession of my household items, clothes, and art supplies (relevant because I moved to study art therapy in graduate school, my ability to do homework is now impacted.) Just had a move with them locally. Really professional. They took care of packaging in detail and made sure the move goes smooth without any issues. I'll definitely recommend this moving company.
