I have fallen several times and fortunarelaty had help at my house at the time. I have called to check on my gps tests and arm band tests and had wonderful cheery responders verify my alarm was in working condition ,very pleasant. I ordered this system and then did not need it yet. I payed for good amount of money up front. Then I payed for service that I never used. I am ok with that. When I got notice of another billing I told them to cancel for now. I will have a need for it in the near future. They said that I must send all equipment back or they will continue to bill my credit card. For all the up front money, I thought that I owned the equipment. I will now go with a competitor in the near future when I need this service.
Very quick to alarming by technicians. We've had several accidental hitting the alarm. They confirmed that everyone was well after receiving the alarm. Asked us our names and address and that everything was alright told us to set our alarms off if we're ever in need of help. Great service, highly recommended !!
Response time was fast.Operators were courteous. Price for mobile system too high compared to other medical alert available.Mobile unit too heavy. Other firms offer more update technology at a lower price. See Life Station who offers a lightweight,waterproof pendant with GPS, WIFI and voice control in a smaller pendant for only $32 ,mo(discount price) with free shipping ,no activation fee and no long term contract.

My mother paid her premium, and then died. I contacted Bay Alarm. They told me as soon as I return the base unit, they would cut her/us a check for a refund. They received the base unit, then nothing. I called them weeks later, and they reversed themselves and daid they don't refund for unused service. They lied. Plus, I notified them in early June that my mother died, but they continue to send emails to her and me. It's ALL about how much money you can take. She used the service ONCE and paid who knows how much, but they can't even refund part of her premium. Very disappointed in Bay Alarm.
The people that respond to the alert do a great job. Our only complaint is that the speaker in the unit seems overwhelmed by the volume. It is loud enough, but not very clear.
I was just in Wisconsin visiting my 90 year-old father and his wife. I had set up Bay Alarm over 6 months ago. While in Wisconsin, I did 2 tests of the system, one of the main unit and one of the wristwatch, and response was prompt, pleasant and professional. The volume is loud, which is a very good thing as my Dad has significant hearing loss. My brother and sisters and I feel much more comfortable with Dad remaining at home, knowing that help is on button-push away.
We have very been very satisfied with the service and have no complaints.g
Easy to use and I feel more confident having something to make me safe.
I put it on first thing every AM, and off to recharge at nite. I live in the country by my self and it is a comfort to know that if I fall I can get help right away. The only time I had to push the button was as a trial when I first got it. My friends and family are so glad I have this.
We have only had to use Bay Alarm in one emergency situation and they were amazing. Since that day, I have been able to rest easy, knowing if something happens to my mom, I willl be contacted. When we need to test the device or have a question, they are always responsive, helpful and patient. Anytime anyone talks about getting an alert system, I always recommend Bay Alarm.
We purchased Bay Alarm for my mom who is 86 yrs old, lives alone, and has history of falling. It was very easy to install. My mom wears the device around her neck without any problem. Thank God, she has not had to access for help yet, but when I conduct the recommended monthly check, it connects very quickly to an operator. Customer service has also been very helpful & courteous. The only reason I did not rate it 5 stars is because she has not had to alert anyone as of yet, and hopefully, never will, but it provides a great deal of comfort & security knowing we have the medical alert in place in case she does.
We transferred from my mother-in-law to my mother. You made it easy to set up. We're feeling better about Mom being on her own now. No need for use at this time. Thanks!
Very pleased with Bay Alarm and their responders. My 86 year old mother uses the Bay alarm pendant since she lives alone. In May 2017 she had a bad fall and was unable to get up on her own. She was able to use the pendant to call Bay Alarm and they immediately called the contacts on her list. EMS was also called and they were able to transport her to the hospital with a fractured pelvis. If she had not had this medical alert device, she probably would have been on the floor for hours or even a day before I would have found her. Thank you Bay Alarm!
So kind when we accidentally push the Red button. Great customer service. Quick response.
Any interaction I have had with Bay Alarm phone operators has been nothing but the best. Quick to answer calls and immediately ask what problem I have. Twice my button was accidently pushed and the operator was very concerned. I explained to her that my button had been pushed in error and she was very kind and said "no worries". My identification, address and phone no. was then verified before she let me hand up. I am very satisfied with Bay Alarm service and would recommend them to others.
We have only needed Bay Alarm a couple times since we installed it, and both times they responded very quickly and notified the EMS immediately. Fortunately we live almost directly across from the fire station and EMS station, so they also responded very quickly. Thank you Bay Alarm.
Haven't had to use yet but am at peace knowing that I have Bay Alarm if needed.
I have had Bay Alarm for about 1 year. I did some research of the various companies and Bay Alarm seemed to stand out above the rest. Also, when I was researching, I would ask the different companies to just send me an email, not call and pester me. Bay Alarm was the only company that respected my wishes and let me finish my research. Then I called them. I never felt pushed to buy anything I did not want or need. The customer service has been great, too. I try to test my alert monthly and they are right there to help. I know if I needed it for a real emergency, they would be right there! A great company.
When needed had immediate responce
Upon receiving my Bay Alarm, I felt an immediate sense of peace. Have used it twice (not meaning to) and when the EMTs got here they were glad I wasn't in real trouble. If someone is checking it out, it got my vote!
We just found out that after 2 1/2 months the system wasn't working. I spoke to the Billing Mgr and the Tech Mgr and neigher one could close and credit back to the day of no service. Do not trust your families safety to these people.
