FPHW>>>>Which written policy do you stand by? First Premier HW sent one policy when we signed up 6 pages long. It was everything we discussed with sales agent. After 3-Year Policy payment of $1350 was paid to FPHW we received a 19 page policy that had many exclusions that agent had previously said were included on the sales call. When we received the 19 page policy there was no reference to the fact that the 6 page policy they had sent had been rescinded, no warning to read a new policy and agree to new terms. At no point in time did they mention this new 19 page policy received with the welcome letter was different than the 6 page policy received with 1st with welcome letter.... Read More
Do not use First Premier Home Warranty unless you want to lose money and be very frustrated. They do not have a list of competent service providers, they do not pay fully for service, they do not pay for replacements, their customer service is slow and unhelpful...the list goes on and on. My warranty is for 10 years (paid almost $4,000), and I tried canceling after one and a half years, but they are only approving a refund of $600. I continually ask for a breakdown of how they determined my refund, but they will not email me back or return my calls. They are scammers. DO NOT USE THEM.
I have been trying to get my bedroom heater fixed. The first contractor they assigned could not keep the appointment because his technician was ill. The next appointment he cancelled because he said we were too far away. We live on the Olympic Peninsula. Evidently, they don't have any technicians on the Olympic or Kitsap Peninsulas? Why were we not told this when the salesman was so quick to sell us a policy. When I call to submit a claim, I only get the recorded message saying all reps are busy. It's a far stretch giving one star to this horrible, rude, nasty, scammy, so called company. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN, AWAY TO SOMEONE ELSE. Nobody else could be this bad. THE RUDEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER ENOUNTERED. They are not upfront about their exclusions. Which are many. I have never been talked to so rudely by a representative of a company. I tried to purchase a yearly policy with this company, all went well until the salesman Jack Adams tried to upsale me to a multi year policy. I had agreed to a one year, gave him my checking routing and acct #. He then proceeded to tell me about his multi year plan an said we had to pay for for it all up front. We told him we needed to see info and a sample contract on this multi year plan and verify in an email all the terms. Next thing we get an email 6 times from Maverick pay systems that our payment had been accepted. I told Jack that and he said we could cancel and get refund anytime. We had not agreed to this policy. This is definitely not the company that you can trust with your house. We filed a claim and the response time was a month. They tried to deny the claim and eventually paid a small portion of the claim. Their service representatives were very rude and didn't call back. We have had a terrible experience with First Premier Home Warranty. We submitted a request to have HVAC repaired. It took over a week for them to get back to us with a contractor. When we called to find out what the hold up was they didn't have any information. It was like the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing with this company. Once we finally got the name of a contractor and had them come out for a service fee, the contractor contacted FPHW with information regarding the repair. i purchased a home warranty with first premier in jan of 2022 for 446.78. in may my ac went out in 90 degree heat and i was told it would be 3 or 4 days to process so i called my local tech company and they were there the next day and replaced a part and i paid them 268.00 out of my pocket and my repair was approved and to this day i am still trying to get my money a year later. i paid for a service that i never received from this company. they stole my money . they refused to work with me or any other agency that i asked for help from. i was told at least 4 times that my check was in the mail but it never came. i emailed this company over 200 times asking for my money from may of 2022... Since i signed up with FIRST PEMIER HOME WARRANTY company in October 2022, i have been very disappointed. On December 30th i filed a claim to have a plumber clean out drain that was flooding my basement. When i submitted the invoice , the claim was approved on January 9th, Then it wasn't until February 16th that i received a very small amount in compensation for repair. After repeated phone calls, i was finally informed that because the invoice didn't have "PAID" written on it, that they only approved this claim out of "Good will".? What the ? DO NOT GET THIS WARRANTY COMPANY! They are Scamming us to get money but not provide service. Amazing sales guys but will not cover your claim. I paid for 6 years and after a year when I finally had a claim they made up things to not approve my claim and Todd Pearson - Operations Manager was extremely rude and accusatory although i provided all the supporting documentation. Best experience getting a 5 year home warranty, this gives me a great peace of mind! compared to many other plans and this was by far the best coverage and price. Michael was a pleasure to work with and I could tell he really did care about what was best for us. Thank you for the excellent customer service!
Lousy, LOUSY service, wrote e-mail today 2/24/2023 at 11:22 am CST, cancelling service for Feb '23 since they pulled out pymnt for the month on 1/22/23. Will wait and finish report later.
Bought a house in June and bought a warranty with them the same month paid in full for 5 years. In January the water softener was making noise so we put in a request to have it repaired. The technician came out and said that the softener needed rebuilt, and submitted the paperwork. FPHW said they wouldn't repair it because I didn't have 36 months of maintenance receipts done on the house.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They're going to fight you on every single claim you put in. Not worth it.
The worst possible company ever several customer complaints at least 80 just this year I canceled in January within 30 days they have threatened me if I didn't remove this bad review I gave them they would not give me my refund now they are dragging this out so they can say that a form wasn't filled out asked for it still waiting so they can try to prorate it and this way it's not a total loss no they say that they dont have my money 90% of the complaints are exactly the same story please do research before you even get a quote getting a quote gives them permission to keep your digital signature just a reminder
Terrible customer experience multiple technician assigned for my HVAC job no one will turn off mentioning company doesn’t pay cancellation process of the insurance is also ridiculous they put so many charges that you will end up not getting anything back from them be aware don’t Spend your hard-earned money on this fraud.
Dont want to pay on my AC claim, want to pay me a cash option instead which is lower than it will cost me to have the outside fan replaced. It has taken me three weeks to get this far!!!
Finally a company that stands behind there word. filed a claim with them for my dishwasher they had someone out there the following day. Thank you for following through.

By far the best company out there. Placed my first ac request with them on Monday, they had someone out there the following morning it seemed like I needed freon. Thank you Alex in claims for your follow up to make sure it was all taken care of.
The very worst Home Warranty i had to deal with , I have been wanting a month to have a bathroom sing unclogged, Called home warranty took there time getting back to me they gave me a Company named Gangale Property solution, who after waiting a couple of days I called Gangale back and they said they had no contract with Home Premier became they never signed or sent the paperwork back to Gangale. A bunch of ... All the reviews are fake, check the reviews profiles: you can pay for them online. Another issue (again): There is an AC unit that is broken, and the technician has asked the home warranty company to replace it. After weeks asking First Premier Home Warranty to give a deadline in order to change the AC unit I have received a call from a salesman telling me that If I renew the policy (renewal date for the 06.15.22) they will cover the claim. Roy was great in giving me all the answers to my questions. His supervisor (don’t recall his name) was great at finding a good price for our coverage. I feel at ease having the coverage after being a first-time home buyer.highly recommend them
Bogus. They say something is covered and only say they will first you $200 for it when the bill is $523. Beware of fake reviews. Very unprofessional . And they claim to can't find service providers but don't want to pay the one you find.
Most expensive, unethical racket in Home Warranty business. Bought a 6 year, $2,500 warranty. (Monthly cost: $34.72 a month). Had 2 claims. Both deemed irreparable. Fought for 25% and, 10% for payouts! Cancelled after 10 months. Had to fight to get a $600 refund!!! Expected around $2,150 for 10 months.
The most reputable home warranty company I use them for my properties an they never let me down when I need them.
