CHW has always proven themselves to be the top of the line home warranty company...until this time. The garage door spring broke when my vehicle was parked inside. There is no way to be able to get the garage door open with a broken spring. I explained this when I filed my claim. The spring broke on a Saturday and the earliest the company that was assigned the claim would be out was the following Friday. I wrote CHW again and said that this was unacceptable. They reassigned another company to the claim and the earliest that could be here was the following Thursday. Great company as an insurance company; however, I wish they did a bit more background check on some of their service technicians because, at the end of the day, those service technicians represent CHOICE, which, in many cases, does an injustice to CHOICE's core values.
Great customer service….technician was very good, resolved our issue quickly. Very happy with the service received…on time, friendly, communicated the issue in terms we could understand, had parts ready and fixed the problem in a timely manner. Am very happy with Choice Home services and would recommend to others looking for a company with excellent customer service.

I emailed you the day I opened my claim to ask why my call out fee just randomly keeps going up without notice. I have not received a response so your customer service is lacking at best. I have been with you for many years but I am going to start shopping around. This has happened to me way too many times.
Even thought our technician was not able to repair our appliance because there was no manufacturer data sticker with Model number and Serial number the technician was cordial and apologetic in his inspection of our appliance. And explained his actions for not being able to help us.
My washer was leaking water (or so I thought,). I called CHW to report my problem, which was covered under my contract. They sent Derrick from Budget Appliances and he was great at finally solving my problem. It turned out to be a leak from a pipe that was cleverly concealed. If you have an appliance problem, ask for Derrick.
Needed to make my first claim. Called and talked to a service representative and they were very helpful and even helped us make the claim and explained we could do that on line. The service repair place had contacted us with in the next day.
The technician that was sent it my house was very knowledgeable and resolved the issues with my appliance .
I obviously have no knowledge regarding the negative reviews; however, my personal experience has been no less than EXCEPTIONAL. Choice responds almost immediately when I contact them and if I need a professional, I have always been very satisfied with their performance.
Just wish all the companies out there would have a modicum of Choice's customer service!

My card was mistakenly charged $2610.57 instead of the monthly fee of $54. I am awaiting an email that says it is being reversed but have been told I will have to wait until Monday. If you can charge right away you can credit right away. This is not a very good start for a new customer.
This was a welcome change from previous encounters. The app scheduled a REASONABLE appointment time, was verified by the vendor. Technician arrived on time and had parts available and repair was done in less than an hour. Very clean and professional.

The technician came and charged me $100 and then told me Choice would send an eletrician because my garbage disposal working sometimes is an electrical problem. Waiting to hear from you.

Choice Home Warranty earns a B rating from the Better Business Bureau and has a positive rating on Trustpilot, but in this industry, negative customer reviews far outnumber positive ones.
