We requested a quote for a single family home of less than 5000 square feet in a small midwestern city. The premium for Choice Home Warranty's Basic was $47.85 per month and the premium for its Total pan was $54.95 per month. With the cost difference between the two plans being only about $7 per month, to our mind, the Total plan a better value overall because it includes coverage for three of the most common appliances: refrigerators, washers, and dryers. It also includes coverage for air conditioning systems. The company's co-pay for a service call is $85, slightly less than most comparable companies. The co-pay may be reduced further with special discounts and promotions.

Cancellation Policy

The contract shall be non-cancelable by the company except for nonpayment of contract fees or service fees, fraud or misrepresentation of facts by the customer, or by agreement between client and company. Customers may cancel within the first 30 days of the order date for a full refund of the paid contract fees. If canceled after 30 days, the customer shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fee for the unexpired term, less a $50 administrative fee and any service costs incurred by the company.

I was not home but my parents were. My parents said the electrician came and replaced the loose wire in their bedroom, and gave us 30 days warranty if anything happens. He was an excellent technician who paid attention to the details and have it repaired.

My air conditioner went down and they sent a Sears truck to check it out, the guy had to come back twice for pictures. Than had someone else come and do the same thing. They texted me and said they approved the claim, now I'm just waiting, been down about 20 days thank goodness it has not been hot.

Home warranty solution assigned quickly someone who sent me a message to confirm the appointment and the technician arrived at the agreed time. He took the time to explain to me what needed to be done and answered all my questions. The work was completed efficiently, and my issue was resolved much faster than I expected. I was treated so horribly, I cancelled our policy. Our heater (which uses our air conditioner blower) stopped working. Choice Warranty’s policy is that they won’t pay for parts if the appliance is under warranty. Before the service, I asked the Choice Warranty rep whether they would pay for installation if the tech that they sourced this repair out to would obtain the part free from the manufacturer per the manufacturer’s warranty. The rep said yes, but the tech may charge us a sourcing fee for obtaining the part. The tech determined that the blower motor needed to be replaced. We are extremely pleased with Choice's response to our claim this time. When our heating system stopped working, Choice acted quickly, sending their technician from Corp Mechanical in less than 24 hours. The technician, named Don, quickly diagnosed the issue as a faulty two-speed fan motor. Although this motor was challenging to find, Don and his partner Jasson were determined to resolve the problem. They worked diligently throughout the evening and were able to pinpoint the warehouse where the motor was located by the next morning. If you have a warranty and something doesn't work, it should be fixed and not blame the fault and deny the claim for the work that the installer did 3 years ago when it was purchased. Never again

The serviceman was very nice and new exactly what he had to do. Sorry to say that Choice Home would not pay for the repair. We are very disappointed because it was turned down. I guess Choice Home would rather pay thousands to replace than hundreds to repair.
