Choice Home Warranty is a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008. Their plans offer comprehensive protection against the high cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via two different plans. Each plan also features additional coverage for Septic Systems, Pool / Spa, Well Pump, Sump Pump, Central Vacuum, Limited Roof Leak, Second Refrigerator, and Standalone Freezers.

the gentleman who helped me Eric was polite informative and to the point it was his detailed description of the warranty the politeness and the confidence while he spoke with me was the reason I bought the warranty he did excellent work
I made my first claim for the hot water heater and got no satisfaction. I was charged $47.50 instead of the $45 I was quoted. So our hot water heater is still in need of service. It needs to be replaced and I was under the impression it would be replaced if needed by Choice Home Warranty. I feel that I was misinformed when I took on this warranty. I still have this program, but will cancel if I don’t get satisfaction when I need it.
I called in a claim the next day a tech came out and resolve the problem. Very professional, quick response.
Vince was very knowledgeable and helpful in both listening to my needs and explaining your programs. I hope I am just as happy with the service through Choice Home Warranty when I need it. This is my feeling of the company right now with my introduction with Vince. Hope I can write as good a comment when I use the warranty.
Other than Aaron being pushy6 and not allowing me to review the contract before being required to commit to it sight unseen this seems tom be a good deal. Will know more after reviewing the contract which although supposedly being able to review online at choicehomewarranty.com/accounts I can't access the website. homepage keeps wanting to provide quote and affords no menu option to review account.
I had to threaten to cancel a 6-year contract before they agreed to fix a refrigerator leak and replace an ice maker. After I threatened to cancel they all of a sudden said that they would add the ice maker replacement to the contract and no extra charge.
Excellent response and service. technician was very customer oriented. Very satisfied.
This was my first call to have something repaired—disposal had a crack in it and was leaking water. Response was fast, however—when I bought my warranty I was told by the salesman who sold it to me that the first call would be free. Will you be refunding the money the repairman took?

It was a hassle and cost significant time to originate a service claim for a service I didn't want to be without (hot water) for days. They promised that someone would *schedule* an appoint with within 24 hours with no promise on when they would eventually make it out for the repair. Eventually they let me schedule my own technician under the reimbursement process after several hours went by without being addressed. This process also turned out to be significant hassle; probably 45 minutes on the phone for authorization and they didn't cover the full cost that I incurred. Two years ago I had a major issue with this company I was called an sash;e because I wanted something fixed but Choice wanted me to wait until 2 days later I had no hot water the tech they sent was a dope and didn't do the right thing I almost dropped the coverage there are other companies that offer same service, however I decided to give it one more shot since then I has 2 issues and Choice did a great job solving them don't know what happened in two years however I am glad it improved
Price is right and it seems they cover more than my previous company. So far I do not like the constant phone calls and solicitation emails.
I talked with Brett about CHW and he explained everything to me. The warranty I have now is terrible(ORA) I had too pay for everything out of pocket. I'm not lying either. This CHW sounds really good and I hope it's true to its word. Thanks Brett

The service representative was really helpful in reaching a decision to cancel my policy with First America and switch my contract to Choice. He offered me several ways that I could finance the deal, which was helpful because of my financial situation. I am beginning my contract with your company on a positive note. Thanks.
The Senior cost savings are greatly appreciated. The on line claim as well as phone in claim process work very well.
I had a different home warranty prior to this and wasn't 100% satisfied with the people that they sent out to your home to the warranty work. I like that CHW's people have to go through a screening and have proper ID. I was also extremely happy with the deal that I got for 3 years with an additional 6 months free. $45.00 for a service call isn't too shabby either. I'm excited. Appliances and other things like Heat & AC can be costly. I think I made the right choice!
Bad company don't do business with will make huge promises and then use every loophole not to honor the claim. Very bad reviews just read the BBB reports

I responded to an email solicitation but could not complete the sign up at work due to time constraints. By the time I got home Choice had left a message on my home machine asking if I needed help. When I called to enroll, the agent, Brett, was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and eager to help. The offers improved as he learned more about my needs. I ended up buying a 5 year policy with incredible perks. Very well done.
I feel that Noe did a good job explaining the program and I hope this will work ouut to a long term relatioship
Have not used the insurance yet, and hope not to, but the customer service to purchase the home warranty was very easy.
