The 3rd party service technician who came out from Green Tech Repair was 5- Stars but Choice Home dropped the ball a couple of times regarding this service call. They kept providing misinformation about the timing and the fee for this call. Luckily, the third party vendor - Green Tech Repair was informative and reliable. I would highly recommend Green Tech!!!

We are back to Choice Home Warranty since we tried another company and wasn't pleased with their service. We extended our service per recommendation of Luke Powers. Appreciate him explaining details for the top plan and the discounts that go with extending plan.
Arrived on time. Professional. Respectful. Efficient. Addressed the issue. Explained what he did to correct the issue.

Side City Plumbing sent 2 plumbers to my house to evaluate and fix my leaking toilet. They assessed the situation, explained the problem and how to fix it, and went to work. Excellent service. Professional attitude. Respectful of property. Polite and informative. We were very impressed and thankful for the service they provided.
Service company communication was great. All parts.on truck. Quick install and paperwork.
I have not completed my 30-day waiting period, but the customer service was good for signing up.

I have some concerns about the amount of replacement value for the refrigerator we received. I was informed that the amount was not associated with retail value but ascertained based on the features and age of the system we had before. I did not receive a satisfactory answer as to how that value was determined as I could not find a single system with a French door for even double the value I was awarded.
Processional and effective services , quicker response, and reasonable change. I will recommend that company to everyone who needs this service
Although it took some time to get connected with an AC technician, the company that did come out was thorough and found a wire that was chewed through by a mouse, repaired it, and we HAVE AC! The $75 charge was will worth the expense considering it would have been a $250-$350 service call. Thank you!
The technician, Tony, from Aqua, Inc was great and deserves this 5-star rating. He was professional and explained everything he was doing and the next steps in the process.
Choice Home Warranty, however, does not score very highly based on my dealings with them thus far. They don't deserve any star rating.
Choice Home is not very easy to contact to receive action when first filing a claim. I followed the process; first online and then through the app, and it was not until I was forced to call (after waiting 28 minutes on hold) to speak with a representative that I was able to file a claim. By this time, 48 hours had already passed.

When we bought our our, or agent had the seller add Choice Home Warranty to our package. I had no expectations, but it was a nice ease of mind to have them in our back pocket. Over the last year of home ownership, we had issues with several appliances. I simply logged into my account, submitted a claim, and had technicians out in some cases the same day! I paid my service fee and all of my claims were accepted. The process was very efficient, and the work quality. Based on my experience, I would recommend Choice Home Warranty!
Very impressive company. My AC unit’s motor went out on one of the hottest days of the year over the 4th of July weekend. They were unsuccessful in contacting a company to complete the work until the following Monday. The technician came out and diagnosed the issue. He contacted Choice Warranty and my repair was promptly approved. The AC company company replaced the blower motor. My unit is now in outstanding working condition.

Didn’t help, the contractor came out looked and that’s it and said some bulshit and I lost $100 because he didn’t do shit

I recently submitted two claims on the same day---one for a refrigerator and another for a garbage disposal. Both claims were approved and handled promptly. I was able to set up appointments with technicians for both issues within 48 hours of submitting my claims. Technicians were professional and solved both issues quickly with no need for a follow-up appointment. Very happy with the service I received!
The Air Conditioner failed on the 27th of June. CHW’s choice of repair companies ouldnt come until 1 July and now can’t get a part until next week sometime. In the meantime there is a record breaking heatwave. This is unacceptable.
Excellent first time claim experience. My A/C wasn’t blowing cold air, and CHW arranged for a service provider to come out the very next day. He was prompt, professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He got the unit cooling again, which is the most important thing given the triple digit temps. Glad I put this warranty in place!
You can submit a claim 24/7, including holidays, via phone, online, or app. The company utilizes proprietary technology to begin the dispatching process after a claim is filed. The company has recently updated their plans increasing coverage and has fewer limitations. Their plans and optional coverage can cover over 25 major systems and appliances.
Choice Home Warranty earns a B rating from the Better Business Bureau and has a positive rating on Trustpilot, but in this industry, negative customer reviews far outnumber positive ones.
