The primary difference between its Total plan and its Basic plan is that refrigerators, washers and dryers, and air conditioning systems are not included in the Basic Plan. We requested a quote for a single family home of less than 5000 square feet in a small midwestern city. The premium for Choice Home Warranty's Basic was $47.85 per month and the premium for its Total pan was $54.95 per month. With the cost difference between the two plans being only about $7 per month, to our mind, the Total plan a better value overall because it includes coverage for three of the most common appliances: refrigerators, washers, and dryers. It also includes coverage for air conditioning systems. The company's co-pay for a service call is $85, slightly less than most comparable companies. The co-pay may be reduced further with special discounts and promotions.

Cancellation Policy

The contract shall be non-cancelable by the company except for nonpayment of contract fees or service fees, fraud or misrepresentation of facts by the customer, or by agreement between client and company. Customers may cancel within the first 30 days of the order date for a full refund of the paid contract fees. If canceled after 30 days, the customer shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fee for the unexpired term, less a $50 administrative fee and any service costs incurred by the company.

I entered my claim on line. Within an hour it was accepted bychampion Appliance. The date and time selected for me was not a good match. I immediately called the service number provided by Choice. I spoke with the Tech, Justin and explained my situation and asked he he could come out out any sooner. To my great relief, he was in my area and asked if today in twenty minutes would work I very happily stated, "of course"! He arrived and assessed the problem and would order the part. That's what I call "excellent service"! Thank you CHOICE and thank you Justin!

The tech seemed knowledgeable and was courteous and helped. The reason it was a 4 and not a 5 was our window for the appointment was 12-5 and he showed up at 5:30. I am not sure who controls it but we waited all day and it is very inconvenient. Giving a phone call a half hour before arriving would be helpful so I have time to get home and not put my entire day on hold.

My first experience with filing a claim online was very simple and had a technician call within the first couple hours. The problem was investigated and it was approved for repair by CHW. My repair was completed in an hour and back to normal operations. Great job to CHW and the plumbing team!! Thank you!!

did not cover replacement cost or installation, however with the discount from whirlpool and free installation provided by them the check provided by Choice Home Warranty will be sufficient.

At first I left a five star review because the service was prompt and reasonable. I was offered a cash amount since the repair couldn’t be completed. Since then I have learned that it actually takes 3weeks to a month to actually receive the electronic gift card. That is absurd in our digital age. Not getting a replacement for an item for a month is really negligent in my opinion. Im still hopeful this a good service but I dropped the rating to average for now.

They don't cover the cost of repacements. Our older washer's transmition went out and the entire washer had to be replace. Neither the machine or parts are made any more. Choice Home Warranty found every reason possible not to pay a replacement cost for a new washer. A new washer cost $539 they only gave me $406. And of course I have to cover the delivers, installation, taxes and carting the old one away. because of my age and health I am unble to do any of the that. The final price for my "supposed to be covered" washer was $718. All of that should have been covered. Do not buy a Choice Home Warranty. The only good part was the Lady I spoke to at their company. This company deserves 0 stars for dishonesty and deceptive marketing and advertising. They will take your money and then try to get out of fixing everything and if it needs to be replaced they will give you only about a 1/10 the value and act as if they are helping you out. Save your money and shop elsewhere

Chris Rooter is an absolutely amazing plumbing company. I remember they did work for me 4 years ago under Choice and I made sure to save their information because they did a wonderful job then an amazing job this time. They will always be my go-to company for all things plumbing. The technicians are always very honest, knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. called in clain for sewer stopage. still haven't heard from a plumber. expect better response time. Have several offers in mail for prompt and guaranteed service. Step it up. Plumbers that respond to your calls are usually out for more money. I just need my sewer drain opened.
