The technician that came to my house was great however I'm very disappointed in the way I was treated as far as me paying $75 for work that wasn't done with the first technician he came stated he could not do the dryer because it wasn't a GE I did not know the model of the dryer and when I put in the order I was roped into making a decision and and I did not know what to say was not able to speak with anyone and now after the technician that came the other day stated that the dryer will cost too much to be repaired you all are sending me a check for $348 stating that the current system functions and the capability I can't purchase a dryer for $348 but the contract states that if if the dr...Read More
I had my situation repaired the very next day. John was extremely polite and respectful . Seemed to have very good knowledge to repair my AC.
Filed claim on web site early AM. . Choice had responded that afternoon. Next day had an appointment with a service technician. He showed up on time, completed work.
The tech was wonderful . However, the owner of the company was horrible. We had to wait over 7 days for an appointment. I received notifications about the appointment time several times throughout the day but the time was not honored. The owner also told me to ignore all the notifications from the warranty company that indicated a date and time for the appointment. That entire process seemed questionable as to why they were leading the warranty company to believe that the appointment was scheduled in a reasonable time period. I wouldn’t recommend this company due to its nefarious practices.
Vector LLC diagnosed and fixed the AC promptly. He is great to work with.
Received service within 3 days of our dishwasher malfunctioning and Andrew fixed it promptly after he arrived. He did arrive in the early afternoon instead of the morning when he was scheduled, but that was not his fault; other jobs got backed up. Love having insurance, although having faster service especially when it’s something like a refrigerator, that’s malfunctioning Israel important. That was an issue another time that cost us, but other than that, Choice has been a good experience for us.
I haven't used them yet, but Alvin from the company was great in helping me set up an account. He explained all my options and answered all my questions.
I think this is a good service to have especially if you are on a
fixed income then you dont worry so much about if they need fixedI dont have to worry as much.

Administratively I was disappointed it took over three days to get a technician assigned andy once assigned three more days until the day the technician was scheduled to come to my home. Was unable to contact the tech to confirm the appointment.
Regarding the technician and the work, no problems. Tech showed up and completed the re-hanging of the kitchen pendant light. Good job and completed with no problem.
TB Plumbing was here on time, and the gentleman was polite and professional. He asked us about our problem before he did anything. He found the problem explained that he needed to replace the garbage disposal. After replacing it, he made sure it was operating well and ask us if we had any questions. We had none. He told us to have a good day and if any concerns arise to give them a call. Great having a company whose employees actually knew their jobs!
Choice responded to my claim quickly, but it took some time to assign a technician to the problem. Had it not been my air conditioner and the fact that it was 80 plus degrees for the 4 days with out my system. The technician arrived as scheduled and was quick to fix my issue. A/C back on.
EXCELLENT SERVICE! Stayed ontop of my repairs from start to finsh & made sure they were done to my satisfaction. The Contractor that came was professional, curteous & knowledgeable.

I have found that the service technicians are either excellent of horrible, no in between. I have determined its Choice’s Processes are the real issue. I don’t know how they select the service companies they use. That process needs an overhaul. And when a customer has a horrible experience it shouldn’t take 2 months to get a different service provider. I’m speaking from personal experience - April 1 I requested service on my ice-maker. Today is June 4. They are finally sending a different company tomorrow. My fingers are crossed that they are competent and professional. So I would score this experience as 0 stars at best. I would like to see a quicker turnaround by the technician. Also the deductible should be paid to the warranty company and not the technician, since I hired the warranty company and not the technician.
While the service is timely and the technician sent was polite and respectful, the company overall did a very poor job in my opinion with our situation. We had dryer not working and instead of replacing the part the technician diagnosed was faulty, Choice Home Warranty decided they would replace the machine. They offered us less than half of the cost of a new machine. We would’ve been fine with that, except our machine is a stackable is a small closet and the dryer is currently discontinued. The company has recently updated their plans increasing coverage and has fewer limitations. Their plans and optional coverage can cover over 25 major systems and appliances.
Choice Home Warranty earns a B rating from the Better Business Bureau and has a positive rating on Trustpilot, but in this industry, negative customer reviews far outnumber positive ones.
