The technician was on time, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable . He had to order a new icemaker. He informed me that his company will schedule him to install it when the icemaker is delivered, which should be approximately 1 week.
The technician was prompt and professional. It took me less than 24 hours from filing the claim to getting the issue fixed.
Tech came a resolved the problem. It was easy and he arrived on time. I am hopeful that the problem will not re-occur.
I've had Choice Home Warranty for a little over 2 years, and so far I've been pleased. I had another home warranty company previously, but they kept getting more and more expensive, and some of their contracted companies had bad ratings and reviews. I've used CHW for electricial issues and plumbing issues in my home, and I've been very pleased with all of the contactors and the quick response from CHW.

Tech did an awesome job of stating the issues with my claim and resolving my issue. I appreciate the options proved and the cost of each decision.
Though he was young (for a repairman), I was initially concerned but I needn't have been. He was able to quickly determine the problem and make the necessary repairs. I was very impressed with him.
I am impressed. I live in the panhandle a hour from Alabama and even further from where Roger (service tech) came from, but he was on time. He got right to work and diagnosed the problem within an hour. He got verification for a different washer with a 1 year warranty and will deliver and set up in a few days. It was my 1st time having to call choice and I am very pleased with the outcome.

The idea of a home warranty is good but the delay in getting your appliance fixed is ridiculous. My first contact regarding my AC was June 20th 2026 - their first appointment time was July 15th. I finally got it fixed September September 11th. I had two technicians who were assigned who no longer worked for your company and I had Sears tell me that they had nothing on the schedule for me.
It would be incredibly helpful if you provided the place and contact information of the shop that the consumer will be dealing with. I had to call and ask for that information with an average of over 30 minute wait time. I was l...Read More

Making the request was easy and effortless. The actual service provider was quick and easily fixed the problem, but it took about 13 hours for someone to pick up the request.

The service technician was very knowledgeable, professional and respectful. He showed up on time, put on shoe coverings before entering the home and made sure it to make a mess and cleaned up after himself.

I am leaving 5 stars for the speed at which the claim was answered and approved. We live in AZ and the weather has been 110 and we have been without air conditioning . The hvac company they sent was excellent. The part I am still waiting on is for the work and the compressor to actually get installed which the hvac company is waiting on CHW for. It's been a few days so I will re-review when the actual work gets done.
You can submit a claim 24/7, including holidays, via phone, online, or app. The company utilizes proprietary technology to begin the dispatching process after a claim is filed. The company has recently updated their plans increasing coverage and has fewer limitations. Their plans and optional coverage can cover over 25 major systems and appliances.
Choice Home Warranty earns a B rating from the Better Business Bureau and has a positive rating on Trustpilot, but in this industry, negative customer reviews far outnumber positive ones.
