Any time I had problem, I would just submit a claim and Choice Home Warranty would send someone out to fix it.
HORRIBLE experience! Please do not consider using this awful company! Absurd service. We have waited 3 weeks for a repair on 2 different appliances. You can not get a person on the phone that knows anything, most people that answer are out of the country. BEWARE Please do NOT use this terrible company!!!
Jason was very responsive with my request and helped me with creating a new claim which I had issues with. he was kind and made sure I covered what I had concerns about. Great customer service!
It was easy to request a service online. Received a reply with the service providers information the same afternoon.
Service provider called ahead to confirm arrival, and was helpful in determining what could have happened to cause my concern, as it did not occur at his visit.
Everything went as Choice Warranty said it would go. Very pleased with Plan to date.

I had a small disagreement of $75 I had leak in my bath tub and the plumber ha to cut a hole in the ceiling from underneath and they told me I would have to pay another service call and I said it was the same event. I have two houses covered for 7 years. On my first call he said he couldn't wave the service call but would give me a $100 check to cover it.
But I would have to call back when the plumber finished his part. When I did they told me could not pay me the $100 and person told that she did not have a supervisor and there was no one else I could talk too.
I am very unhappy with how I was treated after I was told I would be paid for the service call

Sean was great! He was kind, understanding, and very professional. He took care of the problem in no time at all. I had another company come and tell me they would have to rebuild the insides of the toilet. Sean replaced an O-ring, and that was it. The other place was obviously trying to get more out of the job.
I give a 10 for the technician but I give a
ONE out of 10 for the customer service over the phone for saying that Choice can not reimburse me the $10 for the technician’s visit. He charged me $85 instead of the $75 which is on my contract. Also I give a ONE out of 10 to CHOICE for declining my claim to replace the motor on our air conditioner unit!
The experience was awesome and the tech was very professional and on time.
I don't have a whirlpool/Bath or a cook top. I didn't get a chance to have those removed from my contract. I did get my 2nd fridge and freezer added. I did not get to ask about the fire place insert. Is that part of the heating system?
They were very helpful with all my needs. They call me within 24 hours. They were here the next day and fixed my air conditioner. Save me a lot of money.
I think the option of gift cards to a particular store that take up to 30 days to process for a replacement at the wholesale rate it an insult on multiple levels. So I would have to wait up to 30 days for a store specific gift card and be out a washer? That makes no sense. Thankfully as a "courtesy" you are mailing me a check and I went and got the appliance on my own.
I understand thats what the agreement says but I can definitely think of better ways of handling this from a business and customer service perspective.
My technician, Darryl, arrived on time after texting me his ETA and promptly got to work diagnosing the problem of why my oven wasn't heating properly. He was very friendly, especially to my dog, and professional. He found the issue, had the part in his truck, installed the new part, cleaned up the area, tested the oven, and was done in about 45 minutes. Great job! So nice to have my oven working again and I am very happy with Choice Home Warranty.

I placed my orders on Sunday for two items I needed to have done and the jobs were finished the next day. Technicians were very professional and finished their jobs quickly.
What I didn't like about CHW is they septic tank plan the company's they sit me up with to come out never come out are call you then they cancel and you have to start all over again it took me 3 weeks before they could get someone out and I had to get resolution involved the representative don't care they just dispatch my request out again. The good thing resolution got someone out after 3 request almost a month with know septic tank working I pay to much for this plan for this to be happening.

Our technician Abby was super amazing! From arriving to our home to leaving she showed nothing but perfection! We were very pleased with her knowledge of the task at hand! Very pleasant with a beautiful spirit ❤️ We would definitely recommend and request her assistance if needed!
Juan with Universal Repair, LLC was a great technician. He explained everything he was doing to correct problem. Very professional and friendly.
Our refrigerator went out Wednesday night and I called in a claim on Thursday morning. Later that day they showed that a repair man was scheduled to come out 6 days later (the following Wednesday). This was not acceptable as an air conditioner/heater/refrigerator should be a priority repair. On Friday my wife called the service man to see if he could get out any sooner and he came over within a couple of hours and had the refrigerator part replaced and up and running in 30 minutes. Great job! Thank goodness my wife called or we would have been without a refrigerator for 6 more days.
Today I had a great experience. Garbage disposal was replaced. Company used was EXCELLENT!!!! Thank you.
My washer was declared unfixable on 3/25. It is now 4/15/24. I don't understand what is taking so long to get the Lowes gift card? I called and they told me CHW has 30 days. To email me a gift card????? When my roof was declared unfixable, my insurance sent me a check for $13,000.00 in 1 week! I had mounds of dirty laundry so I had to go to a laundromat. Could you explain or simply email me the gift card?

The company has recently updated their plans increasing coverage and has fewer limitations. Their plans and optional coverage can cover over 25 major systems and appliances.
Choice Home Warranty earns a B rating from the Better Business Bureau and has a positive rating on Trustpilot, but in this industry, negative customer reviews far outnumber positive ones.
