Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Fast and reliable! I have been with them for more than 5 years now. I have two houses covered and have had little or no problems.
Choice handled concerns of failure of microwave satisfactorily in getting technician involved and offering resolution. Process for egift offer for financial resolution somewhat unclear, confusing and disappointed and needing further research on our part.
The past two issues with my AC have been nothing but drumma. Paid out of pocket $2000 in October to have it fixed which w a the end of season. Just turned it back on now I am out of another $1500 because Bright did not fix it right. Everyone is pointing fingers and no accountability.
Johnson’s HVAC has provided quality and reliable service to our homes for years now. Within less than an hour of getting the OK from Choice Home Warranty - they had a tech here assessing our issues. Very appreciative, because it was getting quite hot in here :)
My recent plumber was excellent but I am not very pleased with having to wait for service to have repairs done.

The file a claim on the app is very easy to use and choice replies within minutes and an appointment scheduled within a half hour. Can't do much better than that.

The handy man was very helpful. He explained everything well to me. Choice's decision to only replace 1 of the garage door springs was totally illogical. The 2nd spring will break at anytime resulting in another service call & more inconvenience for me, their customer. This was the first time that I have used the warranty in the 2+ years of having it.
The on-line claim creation does not have precise information needed. The contractors sent do not know what model number or brand they would be dealing with when they arrive. I entered all of the information requested via CHW's website regarding an issue with my washer. The website does not ask for specific info. Another current issue is with my AC. Once again, the website does not ask how many AC units might be affected. When the AC company came they checked one unit but needed a separate claim for the second unit. That was problem #1. When I call CHW's customer service to create a new claim number for AC unit #2, i told the CHW phone rep that the AC company was still at my house ...Read More
Some claims have denied as not considered normal wear and tear, however, they did not tell me how they occurred or even how they could have occurred. I have appealed and was able to come to reasonable settlement but it was a nusance
Kent LLC came out to service our dryer. As soon as they heard the noise they were able to decide what needed to be done. In and out. Dryer fixed. Very professional. Highly recommend.

I have been a customer of CHW for several years and I now think I will not renew. My washer broke and I was told twice that a repairman would come. Two times I stayed home waiting , but no one showed up. Finally 10 days later, TWO men showed up at the same time, and it was very awkward. I think this shows very poor management.
You can submit a claim 24/7, including holidays, via phone, online, or app. The company utilizes proprietary technology to begin the dispatching process after a claim is filed. The company has recently updated their plans increasing coverage and has fewer limitations. Their plans and optional coverage can cover over 25 major systems and appliances.
Choice Home Warranty earns a B rating from the Better Business Bureau and has a positive rating on Trustpilot, but in this industry, negative customer reviews far outnumber positive ones.
