Everyone below me with negative reviews on this fine company just can't see the true purpose. It takes hard work and dedication to be this bad and cause this amount of frustration with paying customers. You guys think it's easy to mess up fixing a fridge 8 times in row...NO! But 2-10 somehow does it and makes it look easy. I stayed home 4 different days throughout the past 12 months to wait for maintenance people to come out and "fix" my fridge. After the 4th time I would still get mad as they said they fixed it with the highest confidence in their raspy voice, but after the 5th time I started to see the amount of dedication it took to come out to my house and pretend to fix my fridge.... I've been in my home for less than 2 years and they have had to come out and "fix" my ice maker twice. Well it's broke again and they want me to pay another $100.00 to come out and fix the same problem. Since it's been over a calendar year from my renewal date to the last date they fixed this problem I have to pay the deductible again which I'm not doing! While I understand policies and procedures I don't understand why they couldn't waive the fee since this issue has been reported a third time. Maybe if they didn't send an incompetent contractor to fix the ice maker the FIRST and SECOND time I wouldn't be so irritated. The supervisor had the nerve to tell me "well it's been fixed for 10... Avoid 2-10 at all costs. This service will waste your time and yield nothing in return but distress. I opened 3 service requests in the span of a year and for each of them 2-10 was unhelpful at best, even with the "Premium" coverage. First request was for a non-functioning dryer outlet. Dispatched company inspected and claimed it was not a failure but an installation issue so it would not be covered and no work was done. They charged the $75 deductible anyway. Second request was for a shower leaking into the basement. Dispatched plumber diagnosed and claimed the issue was weak shower grout which was not covered by warranty. I have 3 contracts with 2-10 and I am a referral partner! I will not renew any of my contracts with 2-10. My HVAC burned up on 01/15/2018 . I have had to call them multiple times. Today DeAnna told me she doesn't know how I fell through the cracks but she would get someone on it tomorrow because today all the management is in training! I has been 40 degrees in my home several time during the cold snap. Customer service stinks! Contractors complain about your inability to answer their calls as well as a business having to wait on hold for 2 plus hours to help one of your customers. Ridiculous! THANKS BUT NO THANKS 2-10! I am in the process of getting quotes for a new Home Warranty company. My experience with 2-10 has been horrible every time! Customer Service is rude and speak down to you. I was without air for 19 days last summer and now my washer is making a horrible knocking noise. 2-10 said because it still works they won't send someone out to look at it. I paid to have a company come look at it and they said it could not be fixed. So 2-10 won't fix it until it just stops working and because of my experience with my air my bet is it wouldn't get fixed anyway. Your warranty service is terrible and your customer service dept is non existent. After several months of trying to cancel and get a refund i still have not received either confirmation of cancellation nor refund from your company. Good riddens!!!!! I hope to share my opinion with many , good luck with your greed , you certainly have lost this customer!
I got the home owner warranty from 2-10 warranty company when i purchased my home, in the hurry of closing the home buying formalities i missed to read and check about this polished warranty company. Every service by 2-10 warranty company is bad. Claim approval process by 2-10 warranty company is horribly bad most of the cases they do not approve or go with the really bad options. 2-10 warranty company did not stick to the words they committed. Please do not fall into their polished words when you purchase the warranty or when u renew it. They will show their original side only when there is any problem in your home and when you have any claim(S)
I had purchased 2-10 home owner warranty when I purchased my first home April 2016. This company's customer service reps have provided me the worst customer service ever. I had them replace my heat furnace and duck work after 8 months I noticed my duck work wasn't completed. Come to find out I only had 30 days to notify them which mean I would have to pay again. So please save your money and do your research else where before throwing your money away to this company. Becareful with Francine agent# 1501
We have had 2-10 since purchasing our home and have had typically poor experiences with them... but this time is the worst... Our Washing machine began to leak and we contacted 2-10... we went through the beginning stages and paid our $60... we have now been without a washer for a month... first they couldn't seem to get a repairman... then they did and he couldn't complete the job because he wasn't being paid enough... now they say that in spite of the fact they ordered parts, they don't have the correct ones and can't find the parts... but they did want to thank me for being a good client??? My advice... check out other warranty options before selecting this one...
I became a customer of 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty upon the purchase of my first home in April of 2016. During my first year with 2-10, my dishwasher began leaking. Customer service have two options - pay the $100 service fee to have someone come out and take a look, which could take up to a few weeks, or purchase a replacement myself and they would reimburse me $100 once I submitted the receipt. Not knowing any better, I took option two. Once the new appliance was delivered and I submitted my receipt, I was notified that my new dishwasher would not be covered for the remainder of the year since it was a new purchase outside of their process. Living about 90 miles from Orlando means they had no local contractors except for an HVAC guy who blew me off twice. Once was an emergency, I had 3" of water in my garage because the dehumidifier line had clogged. He never came and I had to hire someone to unclog the line and clean up the mess and now I'm still dealing with mold. The other time. I needed the ductwork checked because the a/c wasn't reaching the end of the house- he blew me off. They did send an electrician because I kept having a short out. By the time he was sent, he pulled the faulty wire and it had caught fire In 3 places- I could have died in a fire or lost my house. I No plumber to fix the broken faucet for my washing... Read More
