I've had Xfinity home security for over two years now. I have had very satisfactory experience with one valid intrusion alarm thru my basement door verified by the perimeter door alarm and the motion sensor alarm. The call center called within 30 seconds of the audible alarm going off on my iPhone to verify the validity of the alarm. I have a camera as well and I could see it was my neighbor coming through the door and we were about to get flooded out due to several days of heavy rains. Every piece of hardware worked, the system worked and the call center has been spot on as my kids have activated the system in error several times which the call center has responded within 30-45 seconds... I would like to file a complaint against Comcast Home Security customer service reps and also the installer as well. When we initially had our service set up we made sure to ask if the by chance anything happens and we end up moving to location that Comcast Home Security doesn't service would we be able to get out of the contract without having to incur any early termination fees. We were told No so that was a vote of relief so we went with Comcast. The date of the install on May 2017 before any installation was to be begin we asked the installation guy and he told us the same thing. No we would not incur any fees if we end up moving to area that was not serviced by Comcast.... Read More

I don't like the new program that Comcast resently download it and then I look at on my home security monitor. Please replace it with your original previous program. I don't see why you changed when it was working well as far as I'm concerned.

I don't even know where to begin, I don't have the space to tell you the entire horror story of dealing with Xfinity. We finally paid the $200 to get out of the standard 3 year contract for a system that worked about 3 months. Everything that I was told about the system by the people at the Xfinity Sales office wound up being a blatant lie. We had 2 different versions of their non-functional pieces of junk. My time alone meeting with their tech staff cost me more than the system and the $200 to get out of this scam contract. When you call Xfinity security they have a habit of "accidentally" sending the "cable guy" that is not authorized to work on their systems so you are forced to... Read More

Comcast home security is a joke... My house was broken into last week (while I was there) so I called to get a security system put in from Comcast. I was told that I would get 6 sensors for my windows and doors, a motion detector (that is good up to 85lbs.. I have a large dog) and a video camera. When the installer came he told me the motion sensor was pointless because it only goes up to 30 lbs and that he couldn't angle it so it wouldn't pick up my dog. I only got 3 sensors so half my house is still unprotected and they didn't tell me that you have to pay 5 dollars on top of everything to have monitoring for the camera... so basically I had a camera that did absolutely nothing. So... Read More
