Founded in 1859 and well-known for its armored cars, the Brinks brand is practically synonymous with security. Brinks Home Security was established in 1990 and brings plenty of experience in protecting private homes to the table.

Prices fall under a 36-month rate-locked agreement. If you don’t feel like you’re getting value out of the system in the first 90 days, you can return it without incurring penalties.

Brinks Home Complete with Video starts at $49/month with a $19 activation fee and $699 equipment cost (waived during promotions).

This plan includes all of the features of the base-level package and adds video cameras into the mix. You get a live video streaming view whenever you need to see what’s going on, as well as cloud video storage for these files.

In addition to the equipment already included in the base package, customers receive an indoor camera and a doorbell camera when they begin service.

This is the worse home secure company I ever have a have to deal with. I was with the Monitronix company for 5 years then they changed over Brinks . I move And try to close the account When I try to close the account they only talk to me about staying with the company. I Received a call about a due That's when they told me I needed to submit this in writing. 2 bills after the close in date. Stop screwing your customer maybe you can keep some

For amy body looking for home security do not use this company its a night mare dealing with them they installed my equipment wrong and the customer service is rude and hostile the company refuses to go bacl and fix there mistake that were made during installation dont use this company

Have had nothing hell with them wanted to charge 500$ for moving. Finally got that cleared up after 4 days and 6+ hrs on the phone. Now it has ben 2 months with out service and they are still charging me!! Saying it will be 3-4 more months before they install. Absolute battle every time. At this point I could care less about the alarm I just them out!!! Expect very long hold times!!

This is the worst company ever! How can they have an A+ rating with 13 positive reviews ( which I can't find) and 90 bad reviews? I totally agree with all the bad comments. My house was broken into, and due to their faulty equipment the alarm didn't go off until the thief left, several hours later. I was out of town and my neighbor called the police. Moni didn't call the police at all, but lied about it! They "dispatched" their own "guard", who never showed up. In fact, he called me and told me to google the phone number for the police! They tried to charge me $40 for that. I have been out of a contract with them for 2 years, but 5 weeks later I am still trying to get rid of them.... Read More

Horrible customer service rep who couldn't even tell me what services they offered and what type of equipment they used. It was a painfully long phone call only for her to finally tell me I would have to call back and ask for a security specialist for further questions? No thank you!

The company is the worst Alarm Company. I have been Trying to cancel with them since Jan. 2017 after being with them for 6 years. They said the didn't receive my electronic paperwork so I emailed the paperwork. They have continued to charge me every month and my account still is not canceled.

Not good. Have had them for 3 years now. We have tested alarm and they either never call or they call the wrong number. This is after I have called them about 10 times to talk to them to call my number. Not real pleased with the company

I would not use this company. Especially if you are a senior citizen. My mother-in-law signed with this company and paid for a year of monitoring. After that year - to save money - signed up for two more years. Not long after that - it became clear she would need to move and be close to her daughter for a helping hand, she is 80 years old. The company refused to let her out of the new contract and has systematically hounded and harassed her, and now has turned her over to collections related to the $500 bill. She now is totally distraught by the pressures put on her by the collection agency. She did not receive the service, so no service was provided but this company still requires... Read More

Beware of this company! Unprofessional staff who loves to transfer you to another person because they do not wish to help you. They will not notify you when your monitors are no longer working and are off-line. Big hassle and Bad experience with this company. I don't recommend this company to anyone. We now have ADT a much more reliable company.
