Frontpoint offers three system packages plus the option of customizing equipment to suit your home to a tee. Its three packages include the equipment the most requested components and services. Video monitoring and smart home integration are built into all systems. The company is currently offering a 25% discount on all equipment purchases.

Frontpoint's three plans are called the Safehouse, the Bunker, and the Fortress. When purchased outright Safehouse equipment costs $294.30. Bunker equipment costs $475.44, and Fortress equipment costs $598.41. All prices include Frontpoint's current 25% discount.

With hardware manufactured by General Electric, we think Frontpoint's equipment is reliable and sophisticated. The company's touchscreen control panel is one of the best control centers out there. It's easy to use and customizable in order to accommodate any home, rental, or business. Frontpoint offers a wide array of sensors, including door and window, garage door, glass break detection, motion sensors, recessed door sensors, and crash & smash protection. Not everyone is tech-savvy: even when advertised as “easy-to-install” and “DIY,” many consumers will require some assistance to ensure their system has been set up and running properly. Although Frontpoint does not offer the least expensive monitoring plans in the market, as with many things, you get what you pay for: Frontpoint’s customer service and reputation are second to none in the business. For those consumers who value short waiting times on the phone when they have installation or technical support questions, we have seen overwhelmingly positive reviews online from satisfied Frontpoint customers. Frontpoint’s monitoring contracts do require one or three-year subscription contracts. If you think you will be moving in the near future or otherwise won't need your system, you should definitely consider how much money you'll be on the hook for based on the monitoring contract you've signed before committing to an equipment purchase. Frontpoint customers do have monitoring options. Frontpoint's hardware is not proprietary -- that is, there are other software apps that can be integrated with Frontpoint’s GE-manufactured hardware. I was a customer for 5 years with this company. I live in Florida but I am in Wisconsin for business I get a call this morning that my alarm is going off. 1st off the monitoring dept could not tell me which alarm is going off, only zone 14. So what is that? A motion sensor, door sensor, or glass break sensor? Then I was immediatly told well what do you want to do call the cops? oh and you may be charged for the police showing up. I pay you guys to be my eyes and ears when I am not home just like I pay insurance to protect me, or my CPA to do my taxes. I refuse to pay for someone to call me and every response to my questions are I DONT KNOW! Really? Do you find this to be acceptable?... Read More

I've had Front Point for 4 years now. My initial research was thorough. Indeed they were the best at that time, and maybe still are. All my experiences with them have been positive so far. No representative has has ever been rude me. All calls with them have been very helpful. After a seconds attempt was made to break into our home, and thwarted by the security system, they followed up with me and asked if there was anything they could do to improve my service, and ultimately sent me a $250 seconds camera for free. Two and a half years into my contract with Frontpoint, I actually had an emergency occur one night in mid-May. At 2am, my alarm went off. I went from being dead-asleep to being absolutely TERRIFIED. I allowed the alarm to continue ringing until I heard from the company's monitoring rep. FINALLY, she called. While on the phone, I actually warned this woman that "I THINK THIS IS THE REAL THING". I grabbed a huge butcher knife from my kitchen and told her I had to investigate my house. I was so scared, my brain barely registered that she had given me a 1 minute time frame to check my house. My experience today with CS Rep Kathy exceeded expectations. I received replacement batteries from Frontpoint after losing power for several days during Hurricane Michael. Once power was restored, I put off replacing the dead battery until today. I soon realized I couldn't complete the task without help so I called the company. Kathy was patient, clearly explained what I needed to do and even sent me pictures that show the correct placement of the battery. After two attempts, the battery was replaced and she walked me through the system test to make sure the system was fully functional. This may be the best customer service experience I've ever had...with any company!

I have been very pleased with what I believe is a modest Frontpoint system. Modest because I have a small house. It was simple to install and is easy to use. Moreover, it is less expensive than my previous system which was overpriced and unreliable. I am just delighted!

My son has Frontpoint security system in his home. He recommended that I also get it. I've only had it for a few months but I have been very satisfied so far. It was was easy to install. My son did most of the instillation for me, but I finished it myself. I spoke several times with someone over the phone who walked me through the process. They were very helpful and patient. I did have to return 2 of the sensors that were not making a connection. They promptly replaced them. I am currently not living in my house and am back and forth moving items and preparing to sell it.
